If you ever lived in Australia for sure you are familiar with a place called Hog’s Breath Cafe. Hog’s Breath Cafe is a huge and famous steakhouse and sports bar chain from Australia and now it’s available in Indonesia at Tribeca – Central Park Mall Jakarta

Talking about the food, Hog’s Breath Cafe serves wide range of western food starting from pasta, pizza, steak, seafood, ribs, burger, wrap, to salad. The cafe is decorated in casual western cowboy saloon style interior with wooden floor and brick walls. Since it’s a sports bar, they have a huge projector screen showing live sport match complete with wide range selection of alcohol especially wide range of beer selection along with non-alcohol drinks on their bar.

In case you want a lil bit of everything, Finger Food Combo is the right choice! The platter is consist of potato skin, buffalo wings, chicken tenders, salad and pepper dusted calamari served with sweet chili sauce and honey mustard. It was a scrumptious plate of snacks and I honestly enjoyed it so much especially the perfectly fried calamari with tender texture that tasted even better when dipped into tasty sauces.

Smoked Herb BBQ Beef Ribs IDR 228k
Huge and tender grilled beef ribs smothered with herb barbecue sauce serve with curly fries and vegetables. The vegetables consist of broccoli, corn and carrot that were fresh and cook nicely with crunchy texture. I love the way they always serve their meat menu with fresh veggies as it could be a great way to balance the heaviness of meat dish.

Smoked BBQ Pork Ribs IDR 178k Half Rack/ IDR 298k Full Rack
Grilled baby back pork ribs coated with hickory barbecue sauce and served with curly/mashed potato and seasonal vegetable or salad. We had our pork ribs served with salad and curly fries, the ribs were tender, juicy and fell-of-the-bone and the bbq sauce itself was very enjoyable with tangy and smoky kick.

Australian Lamb Shank IDR 188k
Braised lamb fore-shank served with creamy mashed potato, steamed vegetables and lamb gravy. The lamb was nicely braised and seasoned thoroughly with savory seasoning and one more important thing we love the fact that they cooked the lamb shank nicely it was tender and didn’t have any unpleasant lamb smell at all.

El Grande Prime Rib Steak IDR 218 Lite/ IDR 249 Regular/ IDR 318 Boss Hog
Prime Ribs Steak is one of the most popular and signature dishes at Hog’s Breath as they have a very specific way to cook it. They slow roast the steak for around 6 hours to maintain the juiciness and tenderness and grill it later then to give extra charred flavor. Basically there are three choices of to choose Lite 170gr, Regular 200gr and Boss Hog 300gr and each portion is served with vegetable (salad/ fresh vegetable), carb (curly fries potato/ mashed potato/ baked potato/ cajun rice) and sauce (black pepper/ garlic mushroom/ béarnaise/ cheese).

We had the El Grande Prime Rib Steak topped with savory cheese sauce, Mexican salsa and sliced japaneno chilli for spicy kick. The prime ribs steak was indeed extremely juicy and tender, the meat was also seasoned thoroughly we enjoyed every single bite of it. It was definitely the winner of all dishes we had.

Key Lime Cheese Cake IDR 55k

No meal is complete without dessert. Hog’s Breath Cafe serves various ice cream, sundae and cake as dessert just like this one below, Key Lime Cheese Cake. Not too sweet soft cheese cake with zesty grated key lime peel.

Mississippi Mud Cake IDR 69k

Super rich and chocolatey mud cake served warm with vanilla ice cream and fresh cream.

FYI, to celebrate the Octoberfest starting from 3-31 October 2015 customer can enjoy various interesting promo such as Free Flow Beer for IDR 100k, All You Can Take Food Platter with 500ml Beer for IDR 200k along with eating and drinking competition. Every Friday and Saturday night, you also can enjoy music from live band while enjoying the meal.

Overall, AnakJajan enjoyed our meaty feast at Hog’s Breath very much, we are glad that every single menu we tasted were satisfactorily delicious we could see ourselves coming back for more. Let’s Jajan!!
