Mister Sunday cafe was started from online brownies business that has developed into a cafe serving comfort food with Asian twist. The cafe is located in Cikajang street not very far from Senopati-Gunawarman area, right beside Cut The Crab restaurant.

The cafe is situated on the second floor of the building with concrete walls and floor and large window opening to allow lots of natural lighting resulting a very chic modern concept but on the other side the temperature inside the cafe was quite hot during our visit, I think they need a better air conditioner.

Halloumi Cheese Salad IDR 69k
To start our meal, AnakJajan opted for Halloumi Cheese Salad and it was a great decision. The salad consists of pan fried halloumi cheese, watercress, radish, beef roots, roasted shallots, roasted almonds and Vincotto dressing, the salad was very fresh and tasteful with crunchy fresh greens and tangy dressing.

Creamy Mushroom Dijon Chicken IDR 89k
The chicken breast was roasted perfectly with juicy tender meat topped with creamy mushroom sauce, spinach and roasted potatoes. This savory dish was nice but not memorable for me personally.

Pork Belly Open Brioche IDR 110k
One of the signature and popular dishes in Mister Sunday is their Pork Belly Open Brioche Sandwich and it was simply the best dish we had there. The pork belly was extremely tender, well seasoned and perfectly combined with toasted buttered bread, sambal matah, creamy coriander labna and mesclun lettuce.

Thai Fish Cakes IDR 79k
Deep fried Thai fish cakes served with poached egg, lettuce, english muffin and nam jim dressing. The fish cakes tasted pretty nice with aromatic yet slightly spicy nam jim dressing. Portion wise, it is quite filling for breakfast or brunch but if you’re hungry or have a huge appetite, one portion of this dish would not be enough to satisfy your hunger.

Since we planned to visit the newly opened Maple and Oak afterwards, we skipped the dessert, but if you’re a big fan of brownies, their Lindt Brownies are must try here.

Overall, comfy space, amazing music playlist, tasty food, Mister Sunday is one of few places that offer great brunch menu. Let’s Jajan!!
