Yayy for Singapore vibes in Indonesia. Toast Box is one of the famous chains from Singapore and it’s exciting to know the fact that we can easily find it in Jakarta at Kota Kasablanka, Gandaria City Mall, Mall Kelapa Gading, Mall Taman Anggrek, WTC Sudirman, Puri Indah Mall, Pasaraya Blok M & Emporium Pluit.

Whenever we visit Singapore, the combination of classic Kaya Toast & Kopi O always comes to our minds. We often visit Toast box to get our cravings fixed since it’s very easy and convenient to find the outlet in Singapore.

Since we can’t travel to Singapore for a while, me and Mr. Jajan had some signature menu from Toast Box delivered to our home. It was a HUGE FEAST!! Yay! Let’s take a closer look of the menu.

Kaya Butter Toast (White) IDR 27k
A must order menu of course would be their classic kaya toast. The combination between kaya (coconut jam), butter on freshly toasted bread is simply irresistible.

Of course the best companion for toast has gotta be coffee!!
Mr. Jajan had Kopi O hot or black coffee while I prefer Kopi C or black coffee with evaporated milk and sugar. Both were satisfying with classic kopitiam taste.

AnakJajan found out that Toast Box uses blend of Robusta, Arabica and Liberica coffee beans typical Nanyang Kopi style and they brew the coffee in traditional way using a cloth coffee sock, pulled from a long spouted pot to bring out the flavor.

Kopi Jelly milk Tea IDR 36k
For cold iced version, we had milk tea drink with Kopi O jelly cubes topped with a layer of creamy milk foam. Love the creamy sensation from the foam on aromatic milk tea drink.

Chicken Floss Toast IDR 31k
Thick toast topped with chicken floss. You can choose white or multi grain toast.

Cheesy Ham & Egg Thick Toast IDR 45k
Thick toast topped with ham, egg and melted cheese. Love the melting egg yolk in the middle.

Ham & Cheese Sandwich IDR 37k
For savory bread, surprisingly this one was our top fav! The bread was well buttered with ham and cheese inside, classic buttery tasty!

Sweet Sour Chicken Rice IDR 50k
Besides bread, Toast Box has plenty of filling meal option for lunch or dinner.
This specific dish was totally comfort food, classic yet very tasty with rice. Fried chicken was cooked in sweet sour sauce with tomato, onion, peas and also pineapple for fresh kick.

Singapore Laksa IDR 53k
Of course we couldn’t miss the chance to order our favorite dish. I always love the texture of thick bee hoon in aromatic coconut based broth. The broth has all the good elements, savory aromatic but not overly creamy with prawns, fish cake, fried beancurd puff & egg. Recommended!!

Curry Chicken IDR 53k
Thick rich curry gravy with chicken, potatoes and fried beancurd puffs were perfect with warm plate of rice. Yum!

Mee Rebus IDR 48k
Another classic signature dishes, egg noodle served in rich potato based gravy, beancurd, bean sprout and egg. It was a very filling dish with egg noodle and thick gravy, you can try squeezing a bit of lime juice for fresh tangy kick sensation.

Nasi Lemak with Chicken Chop IDR 50k
Lots of love for this dish!! Toast Box’s version of Nasi Lemak was as good as expected. The rice was cooked perfectly in coconut mik and pandan leaves, fragrant, savory and not mushy. Best enjoyed with crispy fried chicken, egg, crispy fried anchovies, peanuts and tasty sambal.

Overall, AnakJajan gotta say that the food quality of Toast Box Indonesia is comparably as good as the one in Singapore. Well executed dishes, nice flavor, wide range of menu selection, we can see ourselves coming back for more frequently.
