K KITCHEN – Delicae, Senayan City

Serving Korean casual food, K-Kitchen is one of a few places for affordable Korean food in Jakarta. It’s located in Delicae foodcourt, Senayan City Mall.

K-Kitchen can be found in Delicae, the newly renovated food court area in Senayan City 5th floor. Here you can find casual Korean dishes such as Japchae, Tteokbokki, Curry Rice, Ramyeon, Bulgogi Rice Bowl, etc with relatively affordable price ranging from IDR 31k to IDR 54k for regular food menu, and IDR 9k to IDR 16k for beverages. Special set menu for 3-4 persons is also available in 2 options ranging from IDR 126k to IDR 151k.

Since many of you K-drama and K-pop lovers are asking us for recommendation for affordable Korean food, we can gladly recommend this one since the food are legit enjoyable also all of the menu here in K-Kitchen contains NO PORK and NO LARD, so it can be enjoyed by more people.

Jap Chae IDR 47,273
DOUBLE THUMBS UP for their Jap Chae. The Korean stir-fried glass noodle with vegetables and generous amount of flavorful beef is just beautifully executed, great texture with well-balanced seasoning, savory with subtle sweet taste. YUM MAX!

Jja Jang Myon IDR 36,364
Jjangmyeon is one of our favorite Korean dishes, it’s Korean noodle dish with thick black bean sauce. The jjangmyeon noodle dish here in K-Kitchen uses no pork, they replace it with chicken so it can be enjoyed by more people. To AnakJajan’s surprise, the taste was very delicious, springy noodle with generous amount of thick rich sauce. The sauce has a nice savory taste with subtle sweet from the use of onion, loved it!

K-Set B IDR 151,818
Woww their signature set of menu is super gigantic and suitable for sharing for 3-4 persons. it consists of beef bulgogi, tteokbokki, chicken cutlet, stir-fried vegetables and fried rice. Main highlight would be the huge portion, but the taste itself was pleasant as well.

Dak Gang Jeong Dosirak IDR 44,545
Dosirak means packed meal/lunch box in South Korea, it normally consists of of bap (rice) and several banchan (side dishes). In K-Kitchen they have 3 options; Dak Gang Jeong, Bulgogi or Chicken Cutlet Dosirak. AnakJajan opted for Dak Gang Jeong or deep fried chicken glazed with sticky sweet spicy sauce. Love the crispy texture from the chicken, the seasoning was also very enjoyable and well-balanced.

Seafood Sundabu Soup IDR 54,545
The Korean tofu stew dish is available in seafood or beef version. AnakJajan had the seafood version, the ingredients was fresh and nicely cooked, it adds a nice umami taste to the rich warm soup with just the right level of spiciness. AnakJajan gotta say this dish is legit good one.

Overall, K Kitchen is a nice option for pleasant Korean casual food in Senayan City Mall, the taste is enjoyable and then the price is also reasonably affordable.
