LET’S GO GELATO – Bandung

Any time is ice cream time!! During our last visit to Bandung, AnakJajan and friends had a spontaneous visit to Let’s Go Gelato in Riau area, Bandung and it turned out to be the best ice cream or gelato we’ve ever had in Bandung.

UPDATE: After opening several outlets in Bandung (Jl. Bengawan No.29, Jl. Setiabudi No 49-51 and Ciwalk Mall Bandung), Let’s Go Gelato is now available in Jakarta at Cipinang Indah Mall Jakarta and Jl. Gandaria No.57.

Blueberry + Coffee Baileys & Dark Chocolate + Thai Tea

When it comes to ice cream, you just can never say no to it. AnakJajan immediately agreed with our friend’s suggestion to visit Let’s Go Gelato. It’s a small little gelato shop located in the same building with Papyrus Photo Bandung at Bengawan street still in the Riau area.

Let’s Go Gelato offers wide variety of gelato and sorbet, I think there were around 20 flavors during our visit, one thing that I really love is the uncommon and unique flavors available there such as Snickers, Apple Strudel, Thai Tea, Tiramisu, Mojito Mint, etc, sounds interesting right??

There are four sizes of servings Small IDR 15k for 1 scoop, Medium IDR 25k for 2 scoops, Large IDR 45k for 4 scoops and Extra Large IDR 85k for 700ml of gelato. You can enjoy the gelato with cup or cone or both, also festive topping options are available here too.

Most of the flavors AnakJajan tasted were incredibly yummeehh, not a fan of their matcha or green though since they use that kind of cheap tasting jasmine green tea typical greentea flavoring you find in “Kue Cubit”, but other than that everything was satisfying with nice smooth sticky texture. Blueberry sorbet was really nice, made from real blueberry juice with sweet and slightly sour taste, Apple Strudel was also great with hint of cinnamon.

But the winner flavors for us were Coffee Baileys and Thai Tea. The Thai Tea was packed of red tea aroma with a well balanced creaminess while Coffee Baileys was creamy with a bit of bitter taste from the coffee and hint of Baileys. Please note that some flavors including Coffee Baileys are premium flavor IDR 15k.

Overall AnakJajan are happy to find a yummy gelato place in Bandung, great variety of unique flavors, nice texture, Let’s Go Gelato is definitely a great spot to visit for ice cream lovers. Let’s Jajan!!
