Every time we travel, supermarket shopping session is a must!! If you visit Seoul, South Korea, Lotte Mart in Seoul Station is simply A MUST VISIT!! You can find tons of unique and tasty Korean snacks and products in whole sale or discount price.
Supermarket shopping is always exciting when traveling, me and Mr. Jajan just love to explore all the unique local products, from groceries, snacks to daily essentials.
In this post AnakJajan are going to bring you a virtual tour to the huge super huge mart. The outlet we visited is located strategically at Seoul Station Exit 1, so basically it’s very convenient and easy to reach using subway or taxi, you can easily spot the huge Lotte Mart signage.
Lotte Mart is one of the leading discount store chains in South Korea that offers large scale of products such as groceries, daily essentials, cosmetics, toys, fashion items, and much more at the lowest prices. The store occupies 2nd and 3rd floor of the building, 2nd floor is for groceries and daily essentials, while 3rd floor is for home appliances, homeware, fashion items, etc.
Since AnakJajan’s main focus is food and cosmetics, we only explored the 2nd floor, one of the fact that we love from Lotte Mart Seoul Station is the opening hours, it opens from 10AM till mid night 00.00.

If your purchasement is KRW 30K or more (maximum KRW 199,990), you can get the IMMEDIATE TAX REFUND at the cashier counter (excluding tax-freed products).
Fyi, inside Lotte Mart, they have FREE WIFI 📶 yay!!
COSMETIC & MAKE UP
Upon entering, you will find rows and rows of Cosmetics and Make Up with huge and eye catching promo signage such as BUY 10 GET 10 FREE, 50% Off, Buy 1 Get 1, etc. I think almost all the popular makeup and cosmetic brands are available here.
MARKET O BROWNIE
My all time fav!! Every time we visit Korea, I simply have to get this one. The brownies is rich, chocolatey and very aromatic with hint of rhum aroma I think. It’s now available in Green Tea flavor, but the original one is still the best for me personally. Other than brownie, other products by Market O also nice to try such as their cheese chips
YOGHURT JELLY
Another highly addictive product, Lotte Yoghurt Jelly, it’s basically jelly candy with sweet sour yoghurt flavor.
BANANA CHOCO PIE
Cake sandwich covered with rich chocolate and gooey marshmallow filling, it’s simply irresistible. While the original one is easy to find in Jakarta, in Korea they have Banana flavor!!
ORION FISH-SHAPED MOIST & CHEWY CAKE
Saw this catchy looking product and decided to try it and we love it! The fish shaped cake is indeed very moist with chewy mochi-like filling.
CALBEE HONEY BUTTER CHIPS
So many people are raving about it so AnakJajan decided to give it a try. It’s indeed very YUMMEH!! The chips has a addictive sweet and salty taste with lovely buttery aroma.
TOM’S FARM HONEY BUTTER ALMOND
A visit to Korea won’t be complete without having this one, the highly raved Honey Butter Almond. It’s similar with honey butter chips with sweet salty buttery seasoning, but the nutty taste from almond simply makes it even tastier! Besides almond, they also have so many types of nuts such as cashew, macadamia, also it comes in wide variety of seasoning, wasabi, caramel, etc.
TEA & INSTANT COFFEE
Korean tea is interesting, there are so many unique types of tea to try such as Barley and Corn Tea with nice roasted aroma. Then fruity Omija tea made from dried magnolia berries with pretty red color, and our favorite Honey Citron Tea that is perfect both for hot and cold version. If you love instant coffee, they also have so many option with catchy design.
BINGGRAE BANANA MILK
This iconic milk drink is one of our favorite, we just love the subtle banana aroma with light sweet taste and it’s not too milky. But remember, it has a short shelf-life, the fresh milk drink lasts for I think 3 or 4 days only.
HAITAI SHINDANGDONG SOY SAUCE CHICKEN TOPPOKI SNACK
Randomly bought a bag of this and we regret for not getting more 😭since it’s SOOOO GOOD!! Imagine Korean fried chicken with soy sauce seasoning in crunchy snack version, MUST TRY!!👍🏻
ORION TURTLE CHIP – CORN SOUP FLAVOR
SOOO CRIPSY, we just can’t get enough it! The crispiness is quite different compared to other snacks, it’s not hard, very light yet crispy with delightful aroma from corn soup flavor.
HALLABONG
If you’re more fruit kind of person, you might want to try this unique looking local fruit called Hallabong, it’s a variety of mandarin orange that is seedless and sweet.
DINE IN
Near the fresh groceries area, there are food stalls for dine-in and you can find Korean dishes such as Mandu or dumplings, Noodle soup, Ramyun, etc, even non Korean dishes are available such as Pizza.
INSTANT NOODLE
Well, it’s no longer a secret that Korean instant noodle is yummeh!! Here you can find wide variety of instant and cup noodle brands. If you love spicy seafood noodle soup, this Jin Jjambbong Ramen by Ottogi is a must try! FYI, you can also buy the iconic golden ramyun pot here.

SELF PACKING COUNTER
Well, this is the best part, in front of the cashier, you will find rows of empty cardboard including rope and duct tape, you can use it for FREE to pack your shopping, it’s perfect for shopaholic Indonesians!!😂
