From Bali to Tangerang, Hog Wild with Chef Bruno has recently opened an outlet in Gading Serpong area. If you visit Bali often, you might have heard about it especially their renowned Pork Ribs.
Located at The Spring, Gading Serpong, Hog Wild is easy to spot thanks to their catchy red-colored building, love how the building is surrounded by lush green plants. Hog Wild is well-known for their good barbecue dishes in relaxed “warung” setting that explains the quirky fun decor, you’ll totally feel the Balinese eatery vibes here.
Hog Wild offers far more than just Wicked Ribs, here you can also find other menu like like Nachos, Chicken Wings, rice dishes, noodle dishes, sandwich, etc.
Garden Salad with Grilled Tuna
The salad looks very appetizing with all colorful ingredients; tuna tataki, baby romaine lettuce, carrot, baby potato, beets, corn, eggs, french beans, and onions with honey mustard or thousand island dressing. AnakJajan opted for Honey Mustard dressing with the combination of refreshing tangy and sweet taste that creates a nice fresh finish. The tuna tataki was nicely cooked as well with shiny pink in the center.
Sop Iga Babi (Pork Ribs Soup) IDR 79k
Pork ribs soup served with steamed rice and vegetable crackers, it’s a comfortable and heartwarming dish that suits especially for rainy season. The ribs was super tender and soft, try squeezing some lime juice for extra refreshing kick.
Wicked Ribs with Hand Cut Fries IDR 159k
RIBS GAME STRONG!! Hog Wild certainly knows how to do BBQ nicely. The pork ribs is served in huge 500gr portion. Their secret BBQ sauce plays a major role in giving the ribs a nice rich sweet tangy flavor, the meat itself was also nicely executed without any unpleasant smell. Just get you hands dirty and enjoy the fingers licking good ribs!
Bebek Goreng IDR 99k
The confict duck dish has all those Balinese crispy duck elements, deep fried until golden crispy and served with rice, “urap” veggies, and “sambal matah”. All the elements are surely nice addition to let the duck become the star.
Chocolate Mousse IDR 33k
There’s always a room for dessert. One of the recommended items is their Chocolate Mousse, rich smooth velvety chocolate dessert with just the right level of sweetness and bold taste. The chocolate pearl toppings are definitely what the Chocolate Mousse needed to give it a nice crunchy texture.
Mango Sorbet IDR 29k
Their homemade gelato is just an instant smile booster. Aside from Mango Sorbet that AnakJajan tried, there are a few options of flavors such dark chocolate, durian, fererro, strawberry and vanilla
Overall, AnakJajan gotta admit that the opening of Hog Wild with Chef Bruno in Gading Serpong area is a great idea, nice cozy space, lipsmacking dishes, if you happen to be around Serpong, give it a try and we’re sure you’ll love it.
