Food selection for Brunch Package at Gaia is plentiful, there are more than 35 food selection including Starter, Eggs, Soup, Pasta, Main Courses, From The Grill, Sides, Sauces and Dessert. The food are unlimited, you can order as much as you can and luckily all of the food comes with medium portion so you won’t end up too full by eating just one or two dishes.
For starter, AnakJajan tried Beef Carpacio, Italian Cold Cuts, Shrimp Salad in Light Mayo Dressing, Smoked Salmon Platter with Capers and Sliced Onion, and Traditional Bruschetta with Ripe Tomatoes, all of those starters were fresh and light. My favorite is the Bruschetta, crunchy toast with lightly seasoned fresh tomatoes that will burst in your mouth, the Shrimp Salad also really good, fresh and crunchy.
You should, you have, ooohh you MUST order the pasta dishes, because it was sooooo good! All of the pasta are freshly homemade, cooked perfectly al dente with great seasoning. We tried three pasta dishes that day Potato Gnocchi with Gorgonzola Sauce, Spaghetti with Amatriciana Sauce, Fettuccine with Black Truffle Sauce and all of it was pleasantly delicious. Especially the Potato Gnocchi, AnakJajan are not a fan of Gnocchi because of its mushy texture and boring seasoning, but not with the Gnocchi here, texture was soft but not mushy and comes with sensational creamy rich addicting Gorgonzola sauce.
MAIN COURSES – SIDES
Together with foodie friends we ordered different dishes to share: Slow Cooked Wagyu Intercosal with Daily Vegetables, Pork Ribs, Braised Lamb Shank with Caramelized Onion Sauce, Beef Sirloin with Mushroom Sauce, Sautee Prawns with Spicy Sauce, Oven Baked Seabass with Livornese Sauce, Coffee Beef Ribs. All of those main courses were really good, perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked and simply delicious.
Dessert at GAIA is really good that you must not miss. AnakJajan tried Ricotta Cheeese Cake with Mixed Berries, Pannacotta, Chocolate Mousse, Italian Cheese Platter and Tiramisu. Cheese cake was soft and served sweet sour mixed berries to balance the richness from the cheese, pannacotta has really great jiggling-jiggling texture and balance sweetness, chocolate mousse was really rich yet light, Italian Cheese Platter comes with lot of cheese selection and my most favorite would be the moist and light Tiramisu.
Overall, Weekend Brunch at GAIA is really a great deal, considering the menu selection and quality of the food. Looking forward for another visit, gonna try Enmaru next time. Let’s Jajan!!
