Hello Sahabat Jajan! Do you still remember our travel post about Ultimate Japan Travel Guide Tips?? We are very happy to receive so many positive responses from all of you. And there’s one particular topic that many of you are interested in, which is Internet Connection in Japan.

Just like what we have said from previous post, having internet connection is super important especially if you cannot speak Japanese and you are traveling alone without tour guide. With internet connection, it can help you to find location, searching information, translating language, checking emails or even contacting your beloved one.

AnakJajan previously provide you with two options, first one is to buy visitor sim card and then second is to rent portable wi-fi, but obviously both options require a budget as it does not available for free.

And now AnakJajan are very happy to share with you that there is another option for your internet connection in Japan and the best part is it’s available for FREE!! It’s ‘Japan Connected-free Wi-Fi’ App By NTT Broadband Platform, Inc.

  1. Hai Cici/Koko,
Thanks for the super helpful information as i will go to japan next Februari.. Please do let us know whether this application is really helpful or not.. Have fun at Japan.. ^^

  2. hi anakjajan, may i know that is this app helpful enough that we dont need to rent any wifi modem or buy simcard at all? and when the ultimate japan trip will be available in pdf version? thanks!

      1. Hello, the app is helpful enough and easy to connect. But I personally still need simcard to help me navigate to my destinations on the street because we love to visit many cafe/restaurants and it is easier to have internet connection all the time. About the pdf version, I’m sorry for the delay, will upload it with more detailed information when it’s ready 🙂
