DELIMMO CAFE & Patisserie Tokyo, AEON Mall BSD Tangerang

Another new addition at AEON Mall BSD City Tangerang, Del’immo Patisserie & Cafe originated from Akasaka Tokyo, Japan.

Unlike last year winter wonderland trip to Japan, this year we decided to stay in Jakarta on Christmas and New Year since we’ve had non-stop trips to many places in the past months. But seeing everyone spending their end year holiday at Japan made me miss Japan so badly, that’s why we decided to visit AEON Mall at BSD City to get a glimpse of Japan last week during Christmas holiday.

Del’immo Patisserie & Cafe is one of the newest additions in AEON Mall BSD City. The patisserie + cafe is located at the Ground floor fountain area of AEON Mall, right on the outside of Food Culture.

I’ve been to Tokyo three times and did lots of research on famous and popular patisseries in Tokyo, it’s originated from Tokyo but I personally don’t think that it’s the most popular in Tokyo as they claim on their Instagram however I certainly can feel the warm Japanese patisserie vibe in this place.

The cafe / patisserie consists of two floors, on the first floor you can find many tasty looking pastries and cakes in the display with outdoor seating area, while the second floor is our favorite area as the indoor seating is more cozy.

Mr. Jajan was craving for cold refreshing fruity drink and he ordered this one. It was a perfect choice as the combination between lychee and kiwi was extremely refreshing with the right amount of sweetness.

The only reason why I was excited to visit Del’immo Patisserie & Cafe is because of their thick pancake. It reminds me of the souffle pancakes we had in Hoshino Coffee Japan. For the pancake, there are 4 choices, Sucre (Original), Black Dandy (Chocolate), Rikyu (Matcha) and Berry Berry. AnakJajan wanted to try the Rikyu or greentea but unfortunately it was not available, so we opted for Black Dandy and it did not disappoint

Black Dandy consists of two chocolate-based pancakes topped with light chocolate whipped cream, chocolate ice cream and chocolate sauce. The pancake itself was distinctly different, it was a souffle type of pancake with soft fluffy cotton-like texture. Very tasteful and well-balanced, we enjoyed it very much.

Besides sweet pastries, cakes and pancakes, Del’immo Patisserie & Cafe also serves sandwiches and fried snacks. Our friends ordered Double Decker Sandwich IDR 88k (Lunch set with drink, salad and chips) and Fried Mushroom IDR 25k, both were just decent.
