MEET & EAT Cafe – Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK), Jakarta

Pantai Indah Kapuk has been one of our favorite places to go for food, the reason why we love this area is because of the wide variety of foods and also the lively energy there, we can find and explore new establishment almost every month.
One type of cuisine that we notice is lacking in Pantai Indah Kapuk area is decent Western food, in this post, we would want to recommend Sahabat Jajan with a new cafe in PIK called Meet & Eat Cafe that is specialized in various Western dishes.

Just opened recently, Meet & Eat Cafe is located at Ruko Garden House PIK, at the same row with Cake a Boo. You can simply spot the cafe from its eye catching green signage. The interior inside the cafe is pretty cozy with simple and clean white wooden walls and light wooden furniture, the second floor is decorated with more fun and colorful ambiance with instagenic mural drawing.

Talking about the food and drink, Meet & Eat Cafe offers various Western dishes as their signature with price range from IDR 35k to IDR 110k from light snack till heavy meal, then for drink they have plenty of choices, Tea, Milkshake, Mocktail, Coffee, Softdrink, Juice and Cold Pressed Juice with price range from IDR 10k to IDR 40k.

Cheese Bomb IDR 45k
For starter, Cheese Bomb is a must try. This menu is one of their signature dishes consist of bacon filled with mozarella cheese. Best enjoyed hot, the melting hot mozarella cheese will burst into the mouth, these savory little bites are indeed a delicious bomb!

Double Cheese Burger with Fries IDR 85k
Our kind of guilty pleasure, beef burger using panini bun filled with double slice of smoked cheese, iceberg lettuce, tomato, beef patty and two kinds of homemade sauces. The burger was pretty enjoyable, soft fluffy bun, meaty beef patty that tasted even better with their aromatic homemade roasted garlic mayonnaise, just nice!

Volcano Pasta IDR 55k
Volcano Pasta is one of the newly launched menu in Meet & Eat Cafe, it is a spicy pasta dish topped with deep fried chicken karaage where customer can choose the spiciness level based on their tastebud.

AnakJajan had the medium spiciness level, it was pretty hot already but still in an enjoyable level. The spaghetti was cooked nicely with al-dente texture with spicy seasoning topped with nori flakes and katsuobushi or bonito flakes. We enjoyed this dish very much, it was hot, garlicky, savory and addicting altogether, definitely one of my top favorite pasta dishes.

Boneless Crispy Chicken IDR 75k
This main course is one of Meet & Eat Cafe’s signature dishes, fried boneless chicken fillet with crispy skin served with baby potatoes and truffle sauce. The chicken was juicy, tender and seasoned with just the right amount of seasoning, we enjoyed the light yet rich savory sauce with hint of truffle aroma, very delicious.

Creme Brulee IDR 30k
For sweet ending, AnakJajan had their Creme Brulee, it’s also one of the newly launched menu. The custard base was smooth, silky, rich and creamy with caramelized bitter sweet layer of caramel on top.

Overall, Meet & Eat Cafe is indeed a great place to meet and eat with friends and family, they did a great job with their Western dishes, will definitely back for their Volcano Pasta and Bonesless Crispy Chicken again. Let’s Jajan!
