HOLYDUCK PIK (Pantai Indah Kapuk), Jakarta

Located at Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) area, a new casual Balinese restaurant has opened, Holyduck the sister restaurant of Holywings PIK.

Holyduck is situated on the second floor of the same building with Holywings PIK. The restaurant has a very nice Balinese vibes with relaxing Balinese music and mural drawings with Balinese concept.

In accordance to its name, Holyduck specializes in authentic Balinese duck dishes such as Crispy duck, betutu, etc but other than that, Holyduck also serves great variety of chicken dishes as well. Here are some of the signature dishes that AnakJajan’ve tried.

I Nyeman Ketut IDR 28k
Refreshing combination between dragon fruit juice, soda and mint to keep us cool in hot weather.

Lumpia Bebek IDR 27.5k
For starter, AnakJajan had deep fried spring roll filled generously with assorted vegetables and duck meat inside served with peanut sauce and ‘combrang’ chili sauce. The spring rolls were nice, crispy and seasoned nicely, don’t forget to dip the spring rolls into sauce for extra flavor kick.

Sate Bebek Gilimanuk IDR 35k
Normally you can find chicken, beef or lamb satay or skewer out there, but in Holyduck, they use duck meat for their satay or skewer dish. The duck meat’s seasoning was spot on, sweet and savory, and it was served with Balinese Sambal Matah and Sambal Kecap (sweet soy sauce with chili) condiments.

Signature Crispy Duck IDR 77k
One of the famous dishes in Bali is crispy duck and Holyduck’s version of crispy duck is AWESOME!! One of the best in town we must say!
Served with rice, Balinese Urap and Balinese chili condiments, the duck was deep fried to perfection, crispy, not greasy at all and topped with generous amount of serundeng or Indonesian deep fried coconut flakes, highly addictive!

Kacang Panjang Kalasan IDR 22.5k
To accompany their duck and chicken dishes, Holyduck provides various Balinese style vegetable dishes just like this stir fry long bean with Balinese ‘kalasan’ seasoning.

Urap Bali IDR 17.5k
Balinese salad dish of steamed vegetables mixed with seasoned and spiced grated coconut.

Plecing Kangkung IDR 22.5k
Boiled water spinach topped with ‘plecing’ chili sauce.

Bebek Betutu IDR 77k
Another popular dish from Bali that is available in Holyduck, half duck cooked in Betutu style served with rice, plecing kangkung and Balinese chili condiments. The duck was tender soft and rich in spices with medium level of spiciness.

Ayam Pelalah Bali IDR 68k
If you enjoy spicy dishes, you’re going to love this menu. Available in duck or chicken version, AnakJajan opted for chicken version, shredded deep fried chicken mixed with incredibly spicy yet addictive blend of chili and shallot.

Ayam Bakar Taliwang IDR 68k
Taliwang style of roasted chicken with balanced sweet savory seasoning topped with deep fried garlic + deep fried shallots + chili mixture. It was a very tasteful chicken dish, I’m drooling already while writing about it.

Overall, AnakJajan couldn’t be more happy to finally have another satisfying new place to dine in Pantai Indah Kapuk area, Holyduck definitely has their duck game strong. Let’s Jajan!!
