KAKOLAIT CAFE – GADING SERPONG, Tangerang

Eating chocolate is one of my best ways to relieve stress, if you are just like me, you’re going to love this new cafe in Gading Serpong area, Kakolait cafe serving chocolate drink, coffee, tea, waffle, etc.

Cappuccino IDR 35k + Extra Coffee Shot IDR 10k

Unlike coffee, finding a chocolate specialty place with great quality is rather difficult around Jakarta area, and the opening of Kakolait is indeed an exciting idea with chocolate drink and food menu as their main focus, other than that they also serve coffee, tea and other iced drinks. The cafe is located in Gading Serpong area near Turning Point Coffee and B Steak with minimalist, modern yet instagenic decor with shades of brown colors.

Kakolait will be officially open for public on 17th October 2016. Since AnakJajan had the privilege to try it before its opening, we’re going to show you some of the signature items of Kakolait.

American Marshmallow Dark IDR 40k

Jakarta’s weather lately reminds me of London’s weather, cloudy and gloomy and this kind of weather calls for heartwarming hot chocolate drink. Basically the signature hot chocolate drink is available in three options, classic, American Marshmallow and Crunchy Waffle Balls, you can choose dark or milk chocolate.

Crunchy Waffle Balls Milk IDR 40k

The signature hot chocolate drinks were tasteful, rich yet comforting, we love the way they serve it with hug mug. American marshmallow with dark choco drink is our favorite, if you fancy rich thick chocolate drink, they also serve Thick Hot Chocolate IDR 60k.

For more refreshing option especially on hot sunny day, the fruity granita drink could be a nice option. It’s refreshing and not overly sweet, the red one is our favorite with subtle hint of lychee aroma.

Ice Chocolate IDR 35k

Kakolait Waffle Set IDR 65k
There are 2 types of Belgian waffles, Brussels and Liège. At this moment there’s only 1 type of waffle available at Kakolait which is Liège waffle with more dense and bready texture glistened with
caramelized sugar. Single or double waffle with simple chocolate sauce is available too but you can also get the set waffle menu with 2 waffles and 3 toppings like ice cream, seasonal fruit and marshmallow.

Kakolava IDR 40k
Chocolategasm!! This one is a MUST ORDER!! The chocolate lava cake is seriously soooo good!! Served with vanilla ice cream and drizzled with chocolate, it’s so rich, smooth with delightful bittersweet after taste.

Overall, two thumbs up for Kakolait for bringing chocolate to the cafe scene in Gading Serpong area, now you know where to go to satisfy your chocolate cravings. Let’s Jajan!!
