OASIS SHISHA – PIK (Pantai Indah Kapuk), Jakarta

Another new addition to Pantai Indah Kapuk food scene, this time with rather different concept shisha lounge and restaurant with modern Moroccan concept, Oasis Shisha.

This new place will be open for public starting from 13th October 2016. It is located on the second floor with spacious space and unique modern Moroccan concept, characterized by vibrant shades of blue colors and exquisite furnishings.

As a shisha lounge, Oasis offers many kinds of shisha with unique presentation and ingredients, for the food, you can find Middle Eastern menu also Western dishes. Let’s see some of the recommended items.

Fruity Mojito IDR 30k
A colorful mojito drink that is perfect for thirst quencher especially on hot sunny day with refreshing fruity flavors from mango, kiwi, lychee, dragon fruit and mint leaves.

Mango Pango IDR 30k
Aromatic mango juice drink with Yakult, it has a nice sweet, sour and creamy flavors.

Adeni Tea
This Arabic Tea consists of tea infused with various spices and milk. It’s unique and very aromatic.

Falafel IDR 30k
Falafel is a traditional Middle Eastern food made from ground chickpeas and green herbs. It is usually shaped into small patty or ball and then deep fried until golden. AnakJajan personally enjoyed Oasis’s falafel, it was seasoned nicely, very nutty with lovely aroma from the use of herb without overpowering.

Chicken Fingers IDR 30k
Breaded chicken deep fried into golden brown until crunchy yet still juicy inside served with addictive garlic mayonnaise sauce and fries. Me likey!

Shawarma Beef IDR 30k
This dish might look very simple but it is a very delectable dish, the most delicious dish in Oasis that AnakJajan’ve tasted in fact. Tender and well seasoned beef with vegetables and light creamy sauce wrapped nicely in pita bread and then grilled till perfection until golden brown and slightly crispy on the outside, must try!!

Beef Pocket Burger IDR 55k
Beef burger with huge thick beef patty filled with cheese, tomato and gherkins pickle inside. The burger is enjoyable with meaty yet juicy beef patty, as for the dressing, they use simple mayonnaise to let the beef patty shine.

Chicken Roasted Burger IDR 50k
Another recommended burger dish is the roasted chicken burger. The burger consists of shredded roasted chicken with demi glace sauce mixture plus cheese, gherkins pickle, tomato and bun. Love the soft fluffy texture from the buttered bun.

Oumali IDR 29k
This Arabic dessert might not be the most photogenic dessert but it has a very enjoyable taste with crushed puff pastry, raisin, cashew nut and milk topped with cream and then baked. The taste reminds me of bread pudding but the texture is more watery in a good way. Highly recommended!

Senior Tutti Fruity IDR 250k // Junior Tutti Fruity IDR 199k
The signature shisha at Oasis using handcrafted tower of fresh fruits, shisha lovers will enjoy the light yet fruity aroma not to mention the unique yet instagenic presentation. There are two options of Tutti Fruity shisha, the only difference is the height of the fruit tower.

Cocktail Shisha IDR 130k
The shisha is served in classic shisha pot but with unique and festive ingredients such as kiwi, apple, lemon, orange, mint leaves and Sprite, it has fruity characteristic but heavier than Tutti Fruity.

Overall, good food, nice ambiance, Oasis Shisha could be a nice and different place for hangout in Pantai Indah Kapuk area. Congratulations for the opening!!
