Following its success in Grand Indonesia, Central Park, Mall Kelapa Gading, Emporium Pluit, Pacific Place, Plaza Senayan, Genki Sushi Indonesia has opened another new outlet in Kota Kasablanka.
Originated from Japan, Genki Sushi is one of the big sushi restaurant chains available worldwide with their unique shinkansen conveyor belt. Genki Sushi has gradually become our favorite restaurant in town for quick and casual sushi dining destination. AnakJajan have visited the restaurant countless times and every time we snapchat about it, we always receive lots of question asking about the name and location of restaurant, so I decided to blog about it.
The ordering system is pretty unique and different compared to other restaurant in town, customers will be given tablet, they can scroll the screen to see all menu and tap any dish that they want to order it then the order will be delivered automatically into the table using shinkansen sushi train, such a fun way isn’t it?? Spicy Salmon Gunkan IDR 26k
Talking about the food, Genki Sushi has plentiful options from nigiri, gunkan, sashimi, maki, noodle, rice dish, grilled dish, deep fried dish till ice cream. The restaurant vibes complete with Japanese song has always managed to make us miss Japan a lil bit more.

There are plenty of sashimi options but our most favorite ones are Salmon and Salmon Belly Sashimi, reasonable price, thick cut, couldn’t ask for more.
Salmon Triple Flavor IDR 33k
AnakJajan highly recommend this one since you can try three flavors of Salmon Nigiri sushi in one portion, fresh salmon, seared or aburi salmon with mayo + black pepper and seared or aburi salmon with mayo mentaiko.
Genki Roll IDR 38k
Our must order dish everytime me and Mr. Jajan visit Genki Sushi is Genki Roll, maki or roll sushi filled with Japanese cucumber, crispy salmon skin, mayo, nori topped with slab of fresh salmon on top. Love the crunchy sensation from the filling.
Soft Shell Crab Handroll IDR 35k
Hand roll sushi or temaki is also one of our favorite items to get in sushi restaurant, the overflowing filling and crunchy nori seaweed are simply irresistible. Genki Sushi’s Soft Shell Crab Handroll is scrumptious with deep fried crunchy soft shell crab, Japanese cucumber, avocado and mayo.
Overall, as always AnakJajan left the restaurant with happy tummies, great variety, nice casual ambiance, fun ordering system. Looking forward to more and more Genki Sushi outlet. Let’s Jajan!!
