Happy Lemon is finally here, the famous drink brand has opened their first outlet in Indonesia at Summarecon Mall Serpong 2nd floor, and 2nd outlet is located at Neo Soho Mall LM floor, after that another outlet coming soon at Pondok Indah Mall.

AnakJajan think we can call these past few years as the golden time of beverage business, lots of new brands popping out and also many brands from overseas come to Indonesia. Due to many new drink options, honestly we’ve become very picky on choosing which beverage to try and review.

Happy Lemon is a big beverage chain company originated from Taiwan. They’re famous for their Salted Cheese Cream and also fresh fruit + tea drink. It has caught our attention for quite a while and finally we had the chance to try it.

There are 4 categories of drinks at Happy Lemon: Salted Cheese, Lemon Series, Specialty Series & Milk Tea Series, then for sugar level you can choose: 0%, 30%, 50%, 70%, 100%.

For extra flavor and texture sensation, you can add additional topping: puff cream, pudding, oreo, boba, crystal jelly ball, grass jelly, lychee jelly, taro, salted cheese ice cream, salted cheese.

We recently visited their outlets at Summarecon Mall Serpong, it’s very easy to find thanks to the catchy yellow signage. The store has a few seating area with cute mural drawings.

Lemon Apple Jasmine Green Tea (new menu) IDR 35k (Regular)
Let’s start with their new menu. As the name suggests, this drink consists of fresh apple, fresh lemon and jasmine green tea, it’s blended together so you can taste small chunks of apple while sipping it. We love the fact that all ingredients complementing each other nicely without being too overpowering, we can taste each ingredient in every sip.

Honey Blueberry w/ Salted Cheese IDR 49k (Regular)
Mr. Jajan loves this menu so much, it consists of honey, black tea, and fresh blueberry topped with salted cheese cream. The blueberry and black tea drink is very refreshing with generous use of blueberry, that explains the thick almost smoothie-like consistency (a good point).

The salted cheese cream game is definitely strong at Happy Lemon with thick rich texture, sweet salty and cheesy yet very smooth in the mouth and it’s served in generous portion too.

Citrus & Pineapple Green Tea IDR 40k (Large)
For refreshing option, this one has an amazing combination between pineapple, orange sunkist, Korean honey citrus, green tea, and grapefruit. The fruity citrusy aroma goes really well with green tea, we can totally agree that Happy Lemon makes great fruity based drink!

Strawberry Black Tea with Salted Cheese IDR 45k (Regular)
This one is my personal favorite to go with salted cheese cream, a thick fruity blend of fresh strawberry with black tea, you get the nice fruity taste from strawberry but also fragrant aroma from black tea, refreshing and sweet perfectly paired with smooth creamy salty cream, indulgence in each sip!

Squeezed Lemon Black Tea IDR 35k (Large) + Salted Cheese Ice Cream IDR 18k
Salted Cheese Ice Cream is a new topping variant, it can be served together with your drink order or separately. Compared to Salted Cheese Cream, the ice cream version is less salty and it has more balanced taste between sweet and salty. We paired the ice cream with refreshing Squeezed Lemon Black Tea.

Lemon Yakult Jasmine Green Tea IDR 35k (Regular) + Crystal Jelly Ball IDR 5k
Me and Mr. Jajan were kinda full already but we couldn’t miss the chance to try one of their best selling items, Lemon Yakult Jasmine Green Tea. Glad that we decided to try it coz it’s seriously very tasty! It has perfect composition between Yakult, jasmine greentea and fresh squeezed lemon, very refreshing, not too sour and perfectly balanced. For extra texture, we opted for Crystal Jelly Ball IDR 5k and it added a nice bouncy chewy texture to our drink.

Oreo Panini IDR 25k & Boba Milk Tea Panini IDR 25k
Besides drinks, Happy Lemon is going to launch new Panini menu too and it tastes great! There are 2 filling options of panini bread: Oreo Panini has crunchy oreo chunks with chocolatey filling while Boba Milk Tea has chewy boba with milk tea cream inside.

Since I’m a big fan of milk tea, I loveeeee the Boba Milk Tea Panini so much, it tastes literally like boba milk tea with nice milk tea aroma but in a panini shape, it makes a nice snack option. Panini new menu is going to be available on the store on 1st October 2019. Meanwhile you can taste Boba Milk Tea Panini at BOBA FEST – Gandaria City 25 – 29 Sep 2019.

Overall, AnakJajan gotta admit that Happy Lemon is an exciting addition to beverage scene in Jakarta greater area. Great product, nice menu option, amazing taste, fresh fruit with tea drink and also salted cheese cream are certainly they strong points, we look forward to try another menu on next visit.
