Hello Sahabat Jajan!! Have you been to Queensland Australia? There are so many interesting places and activities in Queensland, this time AnakJajan going to share with you things to do in Gold Coast.
So, basically last June, AnakJajan joined an ‘All Girls Guide to Brisbane and Gold Coast – The Ultimate Bucket List’ trip arranged by Migme mig.me and Tourism & Events Queensland www.queenslandholidays.com.au
The itinerary was extremely awesome, filled with pretty much the most interesting, breathtaking and recommended places to visit, stay and eat. Hands-down to the team who has prepared the itinerary filled with certainly the best choice for me.
Fyi, you can check and follow our Mig account http://mig.me/anakjajan/
Now it’s my time to share with you list of things to do in Gold Coast – Queensland. Hopefully it could help you to plan your holiday to Gold Coast.
Unlike the modern chic Brisbane, Gold Coast has a calming laid-back environment and it is very famous for its long sandy beaches. It is a paradise for a beach person. Let’s start with the first recommendation.
QT HOTEL
If you need a recommendation on where to stay at Gold Coast, this could be the one. AnakJajan stayed at this funky yet fun hotel, QT Gold Coast. The lobby area is very cool with colorful yet quirky decoration arrangement.
While the room itself was 100% awesome! I was extremely thrilled once entered the room, the view from my room was stunning! Directly facing to the ocean, the staff told me that I might be able to catch some whales from my room because the whales were on their migration season.
To pamper their guests, QT Hotel provides an indulgent treatment such as massage, manicure and pedicure at SpaQ.
Breakfast buffet in Bazaar restaurant – QT Hotel definitely can not be missed! Everything looked so mouthwatering and it tasted delicious as well I left the restaurant with a very happy tummy 🙂

SKYPOINT
Skypoint is a very famous observation deck in Gold Coast where you can enjoy 360 degree views of Gold Coast from the top of level 77.
From the observation deck you can see amazing beach and city view of Gold Coast.
If you are hungry, you can enjoy your meal at Seventy7 Café + Bar in the observation deck while enjoying the view.

Beer Battered Market Fish AUD 26
And if you are up to something more challenging you should definitely try the SkyPoint Climb, the higest external building climb 270 meters above the sea.
Never occurred to me to do the climb but I eventually did it, it was kinda scary at first but along with time I started to enjoy the heights and didn’t regret my decision to do this once in a lifetime experience.

BURLEIGH BEACH & BURLEIGH HEAD NATIONAL PARK
I love how the beaches in Gold Coast have its own characteristic. Just like the rocky sandy Burleigh Beach with extensive lawn area perfect for picnic.
Located next to the beach you can also explore Burleigh Head National Park, a small national park with diverse range of habitats.

CUCINA VIVO – Jupiters Hotel & Casino
Cucina Vivo in Jupiters Hotel & Casino offers authentic traditional Italian Menu. It is indeed one of the best new restaurants in Gold Coast because everything we had was absolutely delicious from starter till dessert. The most memorable yet unique one would be the Cioccolato Rosso Ferrari AUD 15, seducing chocolate red sphere dessert doused with silky chocolate sauce.

BUMBLES CAFÉ
If you are looking for a nice café for breakfast, I would like to recommend you Bumbles Café. It is my favorite one as I had one of my most favorite meals here.
The interior is very homey and lovely I can imagine myself sitting for hours inside this café

DREAMWORLD
Dreamworld is the lagest theme park in Australia with more than 40 fun & thrill rides. Inside the theme park, you could also visit the wildlife park and see many wildlife such as the famous Koala and Kangaroo.
You could also get a chance to cuddle Koala inside Dreamworld just like me, the koala was so sooo cute, fluffy and cuddly I didn’t want to let it go.
HOT AIR BALLOON GOLD COAST
For fun and unique experience, Hot Air Balloon ride is a must try. The hot air balloon ride was very peaceful and memorable with stunning sunrise view from above, the ride was not scary at all.
It includes breakfast at O’Reillys Canungra Vineyard, scrumptious champagne breakfast buffet in the middle of vineyard. Bliss!!
I must say that this trip to Gold Coast was one of my most memorable trips ever!! Filled with so many new interesting things that I’ve ever experienced in my life for the first time. Will continue another Queensland travel post in Brisbane!! Stay tuned and let’s travel!!
