GYU-KAKU Japanese BBQ ALL YOU CAN EAT

Japanese food never bores me. I can have it everyday without getting bored. How about you??
Besides sushi and ramen, Japanese barbecue is also one of my favorite and it is available at Gyu-Kaku.

UPDATE: Besides the outlet at AEON Mall Ground floor, GYU-KAKU has recently opened another outlet at Lippo Mall Puri LG Floor, congratulations!

Gyu-Kaku is a chain restaurant originated from Japan that is specialized in Japanese yakiniku or barbecue.

The restaurant has an All-You-Can-Eat concept where they offer four different choices of package:

As I’ve already mentioned, each package includes extensive range of appetizer, salad, vegetables for grill, agemono, rice, soup, seafood and ice cream.

I’m gonna share with you my most favorite menu on each category. Starting from salad I love their Wakame Salad with tangy refreshing dressing, and Kimuchi or Kimchi for appetizer is definitely must have. Then vegetables for grill, I love loveeeee the Baby Potatoes and Butter Corn, both served on tin foil so you can grill it and let the butter melt. As for Agemono or deep-fried dish, their Fried Gyoza was decent. Bibimbap and Miso soup were my favorite on Rice & Soup category while for seafood they provide squid and shrimp. There are two options of dessert Ice Cream or Milk Pudding but we were too full already we couldn’t have it.

AnakJajan had the Premium Beef Buffet package, see the picture below?? That is the whole serving of Premium Beef Buffet package just for 1 person!! You can even ask for refill as much as you want, extremely filling yet satisfying right?

Here in Gyu-Kaku, they use charcoal fire to cook the barbecue in order to get the best flavor. I always love the smell of barbeque cooked with charcoal fire, it has a special tantalizing aroma that I cannot resist.

All meat from Premium Buffet package were very delicious and seasoned very well but my number one favorite meat would be the Aust. Wagyu D-rump that was very juicy and tender at the same time.

Don’t forget to dip the meat into their dipping sauce for extra kick or flavor also try wrapping the meat, with some grilled vegetables, kimchi with the fresh vegetables they provide for extra pleasure.

Overall, barbecuing at Gyu-Kaku was very extremely satisfying in terms of taste, quality and variety. Will definitely re-visit anytime soon because Mr. Jajan has been bugging me and kept asking me when we are going back to Gyu-Kaku. Let’s Jajan!!
