A few weeks ago, AnakJajan had an afternoon tea appointment with friends. We initially had planned to make a reservation because we wanted to get the best seats near window but in the end we didn’t make the reservation because we were too lazy to find the phone number and make the phone call.
Unfortunately, the place was super packed during our visit, we didn’t get the best seat and we regret not doing the reservation.
I personally never like to make any reservation as I had some unpleasant and uncomfortable experiences while making reservations. Sometimes the operator keeps passing my phone call from one extension to another, sometimes the restaurant does not answer my call or sometimes they forgot to record my reservation.
And finally now I can avoid those kinds of unpleasant things with this online reservation app called EZTABLE.

The Edge Kemang
AnakJajan tried EZTABLE to book a table at The Edge Kemang so we could get the best spot to catch sunset in this rooftop restaurant. The process was very simple and fast, simply click the restaurant list, choose The Edge Kemang, choose the time and put any special request (we requested for outdoor spot near the pool).
After we reach The Edge Kemang, we simply mentioned our reservation and the staff immediately brought us to our table. There was a birthday party during that day, luckily we made reservation so we can get the table at outdoor area near the pool based on our request. Yay!!
The outdoor area of The Edge is very chic with lush plants, pool and rattan furnitures.
Unfortunately the outdoor chair was not very comfortable because the staff didn’t put seat cushion on the outdoor chair like they normally do because they were afraid it would interfere the birthday party but they didn’t think how uncomfortable it is for the other guest (us), so in the end we moved to the more appropriate table indoor.
The Edge offers plentiful choice of drink menu from alcohol to non-alcohol drinks, on the other side food menu is quite limited.
It was still early in the afternoon, so AnakJajan decided to order desserts for afternoon break. We had Caramelised Banana IDR 65k and Affogato Mocha IDR 55k, both desserts turned out to be disappointing because it tasted far below our expectations and didn’t match the description in the menu book.
Based on my experience with EZTABLE, making reservation using the app is as easy as one two three. It’s very practical and hassle free compared to traditional way to make reservation, let me describe it one by one:
1. I don’t have to bother looking for a restaurant’s phone number to make a reservation
2. Cost efficient because no phone call needed, only a few simple clicks on the app
3. It’s 24 hours online reservation app as I can make my reservation anytime
4. I received the proof of reservation or reservation confirmation via email
5. The app sent me reminder via SMS regarding my reservation
