Sahabat Jajan! Have you been to UK? What is it like to be in UK? How’s the food? AnakJajan have never been to UK and thinking about UK, these questions keep going through my mind. At last I finally can get my questions answered at GREAT Britain Food and Drink Festival.
British Embassy in Indonesia for the first time held GREAT Britain Food and Drink Festival to celebrate British food, drink and culture. It is an outdoor festival located in Tribeca Park, Central Park Mall and the event has started since today, 23-25 October 2015.
The event is free to enter where visitors can get a chance to learn more about British food, drink and culture complete with fun entertainment and programmes such as cooking demo, band performance, workshop, etc. Leading British brands will showcase their products too for example my favorite bone china Royal Albert is offering special discount up to 50% for certain collection. Tempting!
If you are considering visiting UK, make sure you don’t miss the travel booths because they are having special offers.

The festival is made and decorated in such a way to portray the traditional British country food festival & atmosphere. You don’t wanna miss taking picture with the British iconic Red Phone booth and mailbox 😉

Talking about the food, UK has dozens of the world’s best restaurants and many of the best and most creative chefs are British, or trained in Britain. On the first and second day of the festival, multiple-Michelin starred celebrity chef and GREAT Britain food ambassador, Gary Rhodes will be having cooking demo and explaining what makes British food unique.
