Talking about coffee, what is the meaning of coffee for you? Drink or lifestyle? Why not both? For us, besides being a drink, coffee also could be a lifestyle. It can be seen from the rapid growth of coffee shops in Jakarta just like this one in Dharmawangsa South Jakarta, But First Coffee.

If you need a new cozy space to hang in South Jakarta this comfortable coffee shop could be the one. It’s located basically in the same building with SNCTRY Health Bar in Pelaspas Dharmawangsa.

The outside area is really cozy with old vintage furniture and abundant amount of natural lighting you can easily get an instagenic photo there, but I would never sit outside since the weather in Jakarta is just too hot to handle I will melt easily 😀 While inside feels homey and cozy. Best spot would be table inside cafe next to window, I can imagine myself sitting there for hours with my laptop.

One more thing that is very unique is the use of pretty yet cute homemade pottery to serve the coffee where each and every cup is different.

Price range for the coffee is IDR 25k to IDR 45k for coffee. To accompany the coffee, But First has some pastries such as croissant or donut but you can also order the dishes from neighbour cafe such as smoothie bowl from SNTRY Health Bar. We have visited this place twice, the coffee was not spectacular but pretty decent and enjoyable.

Overall, decent coffee, nice homey ambiance. This place could be a nice option for coffee break.
