KAMANDALU UBUD RESORT, Bali

Bali has been a very popular destination both for local and international tourists for its paradise. Our favorite area in Bali is Ubud, we just love the calm, serene, green atmosphere from this place. This time AnakJajan are going to share with you our experience staying at Kamandalu Ubud Resort, Bali.

Kamandalu Ubud is a five-star resort in Ubud that blends traditional Balinese village concept with contemporary style, they are famous for the luxury villa accommodation in natural landscape of Ubud, on 2011 the property underwent extensive renovation which included the establishment of two brand new villa categories and also the improvement of all villas and facilities.

Entering the resort, you will be awed by the lush green scenery of rice terrace and coconut trees. Walking to the villa itself is also a delightful experience thanks to the extensive area of real-life Balinese village environment through natural stone finishes and indigenous grass rooftops.

Talking about total private and exclusive villa accommodation, Kamandalu Ubud did an amazing job. The villa AnakJajan stayed, has its own private pool and gazebo. The bedroom was spacious and homey with glass walls overlooking the pool and green plants, we can stay in bedroom all day relaxing and doing nothing.

For the facilities, Kamandalu Ubud offers various services and facilities to complete guest’s experience such as multiple pools (infinity, deck, kid’s and main pool with swim-up bar), Yoga classes, wedding venue and romantic dinner, Balinese souvenirs, wi-fi and shuttle service.

Other than that, there are two unique services that really caught our eyes, first is picnic lunch at rice paddies area, imagine having a relaxing meal in the middle of rice fields, second is picnic lunch at lagoon area on the BOAT! YES! Sitting on top of the boat while having picnic lunch, it is such an unique experience. Unfortunately we couldn’t try it since it still wasn’t available during our visit on Oct 2015, I believe it’s now available.

During our visit, it was rice harvest season and Kamandalu Ubud offered unique Kamandalu Harvest Experience where guest could try collecting, cutting, stacking, handling, threshing, cleaning and hauling the rice crop from the field. It was a fun experience for us indeed.

After all the busy schedules, having a quick escape is just what we need. We totally enjoyed our relaxing quality time and rekindling the spark in our relationship 🙂

Overall, AnakJajan must say that Kamandalu Ubud is definitely a great place to get the complete Ubud experiences with its green scenery and landscape, tranquil island escape experience and its exclusive villa in Balinese village.
