P & B – Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK), Jakarta

P&B is one of the few restaurants/ cafes that has opened for years that can survive in PIK (Pantai Indah Kapuk) area. Starting from Bar, P&B has changed their concept into cafe or eatery, bakery and coffeeshop. In P&B you can find mostly western foods such as all day breakfast, pasta, sandwich, burger, pizza, pastry, dessert and drinks.

The cafe has a spacious space, we just love the black walls and dark wooden furnitures resulting a very cozy and instagenic space. In the front area you can see various tasty looking cakes from the display. P&B recently has launched a series of new menus starting from drink, appetizer, main course till dessert, here are some of the new dishes:

Mango Green IDR 45k
Spinach, orange, carrot and mango juice. This was soo good with just the right level of thickness and sweetness resulting a very refreshing fruity juice. AnakJajan enjoyed it till the last sip.

Berries IDR 45k
Sweet sour juice consists of strawberry, blueberry and orange.

Japanese Salad IDR 45k
Fresh vegetables with nori flakes, crab stick, crispy deep fried crab stick, nori flakes and wafu dressing. The combination from all ingredients gave this salad an interesting texture, crunchy, refreshing and crispy altogether.

Soft Shell Crab Bun IDR 85k
This is not an ordinary burger that you can find out there. It is a crispy deep fried soft shell crab with sriracha mayonnaise sandwiched in homemade bun. Soft shell crab was crunchy with creamy and spicy taste from the sauce, bun was fluffy and the fries was crazily addictive with crunchy texture.

Crispy Duck Confit (Potato/Rice) IDR 115k
This one was seriously super good! The duck was tender on the inside while crispy on the outside without any unpleasant smell of duck meat and it tasted even better with the spicy aromatic ‘sambal matah’, sweet savory juicy corn and mashed potato. It was a well balanced dish with addictive quality we must say.

Valrhona Double Chocolate Cake IDR 55k
Ultra rich and moist dark chocolate cake with bitter sweet dark chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream. Mr. Jajan’s fav.

Peanut Crumble Carrot Cake IDR 45k
Dense yet moist carrot cake that was rich of spices. Love the light cream cheese.

Salted Egg Yolk Croissant IDR 35k
Salted egg yolk dessert has gained high popularity in recent months, starting from the old-school classic steamed bun with sweet salted egg yolk filling, now you can find various new salted egg yolk creations from waffle, choco lava cake and the highly raved salted egg yolk croissant.

Salted Egg Yolk Croissant has recently gained popularity in Singapore and now you can find it in Jakarta at P&B freshly made by order. The croissant has a nice crunchy flaky buttery texture with molten sweet salty rich salted egg yolk filling, it is a fun and tasty combination.

Overall, great options of menu, spacious space, P&B is definitely one of the recommended hangout places in Pantai Indah Kapuk area for delicious food and cozy ambiance. Let’s Jajan!!
