WILD GRASS – Bandung | ANAKJAJAN.COM

Food scene in Bandung is always exciting, there are tons of interesting places to eat with great concept and one of it is the highly raved Wild Grass restaurant/ cafe in Ciumbeluit area.

Wild Grass is managed by Altima Group, the same group that runs Nanny’s Pavillon, Porto, Karnivor, Torigen and Sushi Tora. It is located literally very close to Miss Bee Providore. Wild Grass offers wide variety of mainly western dishes such as pasta, pizza, burger, steak, sandwich, etc.

The restaurant has a semi open concept with spacious yard so customers can sit while enjoy the cool breeze of Bandung, while for the interior, the concept is more likely to vintage industrial concept with brick walls, vintage ornaments and moody dark vibes (totally my kind of place!).

The bar area that looks like glass house definitely one of the favorite spots there. FYI, they will open another new outlet of Wild Grass soon in Bali on September 2016.

Dream Land IDR 37k
I ordered this one because it looks refreshing and it has unique presentation with cotton candy. The drink tasted pretty refreshing, sweet and sour altogether unfortunately it was way to sweet for my liking.

Lembang Sangria IDR 59k
To my surprise, this drink came in huge portion, it’s perfect for sharing. It consists of traditional tea mixed with cranberry juice, orange juice, soda and slices of fruit, it was refreshing and fruity with hint of cinnamon aroma and perfect level of sweetness.

Gorgeous Fries IDR 35k
French fries deep fried until golden and crunchy on the outside tossed with salty and peppery cajun pepper and lime.

Pasta was pretty yummy, spicy hot, savory and tangy with small chunks of chicken and prawn, it has all the flavors that I expected.

Overall, food was decent with great concept of decor, it is definitely a nice and cozy place to hangout with friends while enjoying the cool breeze of Bandung. Let’s Jajan!!
