Introducing Gyoza Bar, a new cozy hangout spot in Tribeca, Central Park Mall, West Jakarta. Serving Gyoza and Japanese style cocktails as their main signature, Gyoza Bar offers a whole lot more options of fusion Japanese dishes from Gyoza, Salad, Soup, Katsu, Yakiniku, Nabe, Donburi, Baked Rice, Futomaki, Tapas, etc with price ranging from IDR 18k to IDR 98k. Since it’s also a bar, it offers great range of Japanese inspired non alcohol and alcohol drinks such as Sake, Japanese Whisky, Scotch, Beer, Coffee, Cocktail, Mocktail, etc as well.
Located on the ground floor, Gyoza Bar has an interesting and vibrant decor with colorful, modern and quirky Japanese inspired decor, there’s an eye catching rattan installation in the middle of the restaurant & bar. We enjoyed sitting on the outdoor area with gentle afternoon breeze and up beat EDM music, it felt like we were chillin in Bali or any other places but not Jakarta.
Ok, let’s talk about the food and drinks, here are some of the Gyoza Bar’s menu that AnakJajan’ve tried.
Japanese Farmer IDR 90k
We started with this refreshing cocktail drink, Japanese Farmer with multidimensional flavors consists of dry gin, orange curacao, earl grey syrup, orgeat syrup, fresh lemon juice, aromatic bitter and tonic.

Orenji Cinnamon IDR 40k
For non alcohol mocktail drink, we opted for Orenji Cinnamon with charred orange, strawberry, orange juice, cinnamon syrup and earl grey syrup. It was an interesting yet different but in a good way, very citrusy and aromatic.

Chicken Truffle Mushroom Gyoza IDR 42k
minced chicken, cabbage, mushroom, truffle oil
Visiting Gyoza Bar won’t be complete without having their signature dish, GYOZA!! AnakJajan tried two Gyoza dishes and both were nicely executed with unique twist of mushroom flavor for the Chicken Truffle Mushroom Gyoza and hot spicy kick for the Mexican Chicken Gyoza. The gyoza skin was thin yet elastic, filling was juicy yet nicely seasoned, me likey!
Mexican Chicken Gyoza IDR 39k
minced chicken, mozarella, jalapeno, chopped corriander leaf
Mix Salad Bowl IDR 45k
Salad bowl with festive ingredients, mix green salad, cherry tomato, sweet corn, avocado, onion, red cabbage, salt klep, spicy tofu and wafu dressing. The ingredients were very fresh and crunchy and the most interesting component from this salad would be the wafu dressing, it is some kind of Japanese vinaigrette-type salad dressing and Gyoza Bar’s version of wafu dressing has this kind of interesting heat from ginger I think, very fresh and tasty.
Tamagoyaki with Ebi Tempura IDR 24k

Beef Short Ribs Yakiniku IDR 95k
I always love Japanese style set menu with a lil bit of everything, the Beef Short Ribs Yakiniku set consists of beef short ribs sukiyaki, black sesame butter, rice, chicken gyoza, pickle, tofu, miso soup, potato croquette. The beef short ribs were very scumptious and tender with savory and subtle sweet flavors.
Okonomiyaki IDR 49k
Okonomiyaki or Japanese savory pancake is also available in Gyoza Bar. Not the most photogenic dish but it tasted way better than its look. To my surprise the okonomiyaki was nicely done, very soft but not mushy and flavorful enough.
Geisha Roll IDR 75k
The Geisha Roll has a delicate taste with rice paper, spicy salmon, tobiko, avocado, cucumber and green oil. It was creamy and spicy, AnakJajan really enjoyed the textures, chewiness from rice paper, crunchiness from cucumber, creaminess cucumber amd soft texture from salmon. Definitely one of a kind!
Dorayaki Ice Cream IDR 39k
For dessert, there are few options such as pudding, ice cream, cheese cake including this one ice cream sandwiched with dorayaki.

Overall Gyoza Bar offers a great concept and enjoyable dishes with cozy space, it’s definitely one of the hottest hangout spots in West Jakarta especially Central Park area. Let’s Jajan!!
