This year, Nomz Kitchen and Pastry in Grand Indonesia Mall, Jakarta turns 2 years old. Congratulations!!! To celebrate the 2nd Anniversary, they’re having a series of special 2nd Anniversary Menu by Chef Fery Jong and Pastry Chef Kim that customer can enjoy exclusively from 23rd December to 28th December 2016.
Besides 2nd Anniversary Menu, this year’s anniversary celebration is quite interesting and special because TWO LUKCY WINNERS with their plus one can win a CULINARY TRIP TO BALI 3D2N ALL IN with Chef Fery Jong and Pastry Chef Kim by joining #NomzMannequinChallenge contest. You simply need to order 2 of special Anniversary Menu, record Mannequin Challenge video with the Anniversary Menu in Nomz Kitchen & Pastry restaurant and then upload it.
Here are the T&C of #NomzMannequinChallenge :
1. Participants must order at least 2 of our special Anniversary Menu (The menu will be available from 23rd-28th December 2016, in which the competition will be held)
2. Participants must record a Mannequin Challenge with the Anniversary menus ordered, no limitation for duration & amount of people recorded in the video
3. Video has to be uploaded to Instagram with hashtag #NomzMannequinChallenge #Nomz2ndAnniversary #NomzBaliGiveaway and mention @nomzjakarta
4. Follow @nomzjakarta @fery_jong @kimpangestu Instagram account
5. Mannequin Challenge has to be recorded in Nomz Kitchen & Pastry restaurant
6. Our chefs will pick two winners with funniest / most unique Mannequin Challenge video
7. Winners will be announced at 1st January 2017
8. Each winner will get two flight tickets to Bali, including accommodation, transportation (with scheduled route), and lunch & dinner in chosen restaurants

Ok, now let’s take a look at the Anniversary Menu.
Braised Beef Cheek IDR 155k
The first one is braised beef cheek, red wine, and black stout with cheesy mashed potato, green beans, and roasted truss cherry tomato. The beef cheek was well executed, soooo tender with melt in the mouth texture, seasoning was also very well thought with rich depth of flavor.
Risotto Milanese IDR 170k
This dish is seriously SOOOOO GOOD!!! One of the most memorable I must say! Perfectly cooked Risotto Milanese with aromatic chili king prawn coriander and red radish. The taste was very well-balanced, creamy but fresh thanks to the use of lemon and extremely aromatic yet fresh grilled prawn, so good I highly recommend you to try it!
Pork Cheek IDR 135k
Pork Cheek served with pumpkin puree, chimicurri, compressed apple, and kale chips. It was a unique dish with savoury and tangy refreshing sauce while the pork cheek was extremly tender, it could be nicer if it has more meat and less fat.
Fried Pomfret IDR 155k
For more Asian flavors, Fried Pomfret is a kind of dish that cannot go wrong. Fish was fresh and then drizzled with addictive soy garlic ginger dressing and served with warm bowl of rice.
Pan Seared Gindara IDR 165k
Pan Seared Gindara is a unique dish with seared gindara, New Zealand mussels, and scallop, served with curry broth, sweet potato chips, coriander and lime. The curry was rich, aromatic and bold but just in the nice level so it didn’t overpower the freshness of seafood and you can taste the seafood nicely as the main star.
Merry Go Round IDR 70k
Another pretty creation by Pastry Chef Kim Pangestu, cute looking merry go round inspired dessert with strawberry chiffon cake, mascarpone cream, white chocolate plaque, fresh strawberries, chocolate feather, strawberry and orange sauce. It tasted very light and fruity, major love for the feather shaped white choco!
Boule De Noel IDR 80k
This dessert is such a piece of art!! It looks like Christmas ornament ball with pretty snowflakes embellishment and it tastes just as good as its look. On the outside you’ll get crunchy texture from milk chocolate ornament ball and then on the inside there’s soft and moist dark chocolate brownie, Baileys chocolate sponge, vanilla Madagascar chantilly, salted caramel, Jamaican hot chocolate sauce and fresh raspberry. So much textures and flavors in one spoonful, me likey!
