[BANDUNG] YOFORIA YOGHURT STUDIO – Indonesia (CLOSED)

Currently the most happening place in Paris Van Java (PVJ), Bandung, Yoforia Yoghurt Studio. A unique cafe with all yoghurt based food and beverages.

When it comes to Bandung there’s nothing more exciting than food hunting, lots of you asked about recommended places in Bandung and Yoforia Yoghurt Studio is certainly is a great recommendation.

As seen on our Instagram stories (@ANAKJAJAN), recently AnakJajan had a quick escape to Bandung and visited Yoforia Yoghurt Studio, it is a pop up cafe that opens for 3 months until 15th March 2017 with all yoghurt based food and beverages in collaboration with Chef Martin Praja.

Salmon Salad w/ Dill Yogurt Dressing IDR 40k

The cafe has a nice hip modern decor with clean white yet bright interior and cheerful yellow and blue colors for the exterior. The bright modern decor reminds me of modern Japanese style cafe, it’s a very cozy and instagenic spot for hangout.

As I mentioned earlier, all food and beverages are yoghurt based making it a healthier option for hangout. AnakJajan had a chance to try the plain yoghurt and we must say that it has just the nice level of consistency, not watery but not too thick either, as for the taste it’s not overly sweet with just a lil bit of acidity so it’s perfect as a base for any food or beverage creation.

It’s absolutely a heavenly combination for avocado lovers, thick rich avocado juice with a fresh yet creamy taste from yoghurt and subtle hint of espresso.

Yofoccino IDR 35k (Single) / IDR 45k (Double)
Plain Yogurt, Espresso, Caramel
First time trying coffee and yoghurt combination and we’re lovin it!! It’s an uncommon combination that turns out to be exceptional, both coffee and yoghurt complement each other nicely with nice sweet touch of caramel. If you fancy stronger coffee taste, you can order double shot for the coffee.

Kuro Yochoccino IDR 35k (S) / IDR 45k(D)
Plain Yogurt, Espresso, Cocoa
Compared to Yofoccino, the Kuro Yochoccino has more subtle coffee taste with hint of chocolate bitter sweet taste.

A-Yo Strawberry IDR 35k (S) / IDR 45k(D)

One of the best selling items in Yoforia is A-Yo Strawberry, fruity refreshing yoghurt shake drink with strawberry and lychee.

Besides A-Yo Strawberry, A-Yo Peach is another customers favorite with the combination of plain yoghurt, orange juice and peach, it’s a refreshing and cheerful combination that we will never get bored with.

Berry Smooth IDR 35k (S) / IDR 45k(D)
Plain Yogurt, Strawberry, Blueberry, Peach Honey
Our most favorite menu in Yoforia, a beautiful blend of plain yoghurt, strawberry, blueberry and peach honey. It’s fruity with subtle sweetness of honey, if only they open in Jakarta, me and Mr. Jajan are going to be regular customers since it’s the kind of drink that we love. Highly recommended!

Mother of Dragon IDR 35k (S) / IDR 45k(D)
Plain Yogurt, Red Dragon Fruit, Banana, Blueberry
Another fruity yoghurt based creation with eye catching purple color thanks to the use of red dragon fruit and blueberry. Compared to other drink, this one has thicker consistency since they use banana in it so it’s quite filling.

Y.O.L.O Smoothies Bowl IDR 40k
Plain Yogurt, Banana, Peanut Butter, Chocolate, Coconut Flake, Granola
It’s a fun tasting smoothies bowl with chocolatey and nutty taste. The use of plain yoghurt gives a nice balance of flavor to the smoothie bowl so it’s more enjoyable and less heavy.

Salmon Salad w/ Dill Yogurt Dressing IDR 40k
The salad consists of fresh vegetables, boiled egg and dill yoghurt dressing. The dill yoghurt dressing is definitely what the salad needed to elevate this dish into the next level, it’s healthy and delicious as well.

Chicken Nachos w/ Thai Sauce IDR 35k
Another unique creation, chicken fingers coated with crushed nachos for extra crunch then served with Thai sauce. Double thumbs up for the unique yoghurt based dipping sauce, it’s seriously very addictive with tangy spicy flavor.

Gyoza w/ Goma-Yo Dip IDR 35k
The deep fried gyoza has a nice juicy filling, as for dipping sauce they created a unique nutty yet tangy sauce made from yoghurt and goma.

Yogurt Coffee Pannacotta IDR 25k
For sweet ending, the Yogurt Coffee Pannacotta can be a great dessert, nice delicate smooth texture and great level of sweetness with unique hint of coffee aroma. Love it!

Overall, nice cozy place, great tasting products, unique and innovative creations, Yoforia Yoghurt Studio is undoubtedly a MUST VISIT when you’re in Bandung, AnakJajan wish there were more places like this. The pop up cafe is available until 15th March 2017, so you better hurry before it’s too late coz honestly it’s too good to be missed!! Let’s Jajan!!
