Platinum Resto, established since 2003 with total 20 outlets in Jakarta, Bandung, Bekasi, Bogor, Cirebon, Depok, and Tangerang, who doesn’t know about about this restaurant? Serving western, oriental and Indonesian food with affordable price ranging from IDR 15k to IDR 92k, Platinum has always be one of our favorite restaurants over the years.

Do you still remember all those classic all time favorite dishes from Platinum Resto? It’s the food that we grew up eating, back in university days, me and Mr. Jajan used to love spending our weekend at Platinum Resto and up until now the food are still yummy and humbly satisfying such as their teppanyaki, steak, steamboat, etc.

Besides Halal, Platinum Resto is also known for the value for money for their dishes, from western food to flavorful oriental food, other than that another thing that we love is the free welcome snack provided by the restaurant. Since 2014, the restaurant has launched a sub-brand called Kopilatinum that is specialized in coffee drinks from all over the world.

From the plating, the taste, the presentation, it’s still as good as we remember, I bet some of you are also having nostalgic moment with their food. Let’s take a closer look of some of their yummy dishes:

Strawjelly IDR 18,182
Still my all time fav drink in Platinum Resto, classic strawberry based smoothie with silky smooth strawberry jelly with jiggly texture, it’s sweet, refreshing and fruity altogether.

Ayam Saos Mentega Hainan IDR 30,000
Classic as its best!! Crunchy deep fried chicken served with egg, egg tofu, and drizzled with “saos mentega” or worcestershire-based sauce. The taste is classic, sweet, savory and crunchy, very comforting.

Chicken Mozzarella IDR 43,636
All time favorite, deep fried chicken fillet topped with melted mozarella cheese, served with fries, salad, mix vegetables, and BBQ sauce. A classic combination that simply cannot go wrong, crunchy, savory, and cheesy.

Nasi Ayam Hainan IDR 30,909
Every time we feel like having something comforting for meal, Nasi Ayam Hainan is always a nice choice. The savory fried chicken is served with egg, soup and rice. Gotta love the fragrant Hainan rice with comforting aroma and savory taste.

Beef Kangkung Hot Plate IDR 34,545
Best enjoyed with rice, the stir-fry water spinach with beef, chili, and quail egg is served on sizzling hot plate. The seasoning is well balanced, savory, comforting, and full of umami with delightful wok-fry aroma.

Combo Steak IDR 50,909
For maximum pleasure, we always get the Combo Steak since it’s super complete with beef, sausage, deep fried chicken, fries and mixed vegetables. The savory mushroom sauce just adds a nice moisture and savory taste both for the meat and vegetables.

Combo Teppanyaki IDR 34,545
Another super complete all time favorite dish with oriental taste is their signature Combo Teppanyaki with chicken, beef, sausage, and sauteed vegetables. The meat is nicely cooked with well-balanced season, savory with subtle sweet taste thanks to the use of onion.

Nasi Goreng Hong Kong IDR 29,091
The fried rice tastes like Chinese-style Yang-Chow fried rice with irresistible wok-fry aroma and flavorful chicken charsiu meat. Love the way they serve it with pickles and vegetables to make the dish more balanced.

Ice Kopilatinum (Koro Kohi) Latte IDR 24,545
One of the special drink from Kopilatinum is Koro Kohi, it’s a unique iced coffee drink consists of ice coffee cubes with milk. It’s available in latte, Mocha, Hazelnut, or Caramel flavors.

Ice Kopilatinum Black IDR 21,818
For iced black coffee lovers, Ice Kopilatinum Black is nice to try. The presentation is unique since they use aeropress coffee with coffee ice cubes.

Matcha Green Tea Ice Cream IDR 16,364
I bet many of you are matcha green tea die hard fans?? Gladly now you can find it at Kopilatinum, the dessert consists of vanilla ice cream with matcha milk.

Overall, as usually, Platinum Resto never fails to satisfy our tummies with the yummy flavorful food. Great range of western, oriental, and Indonesian dishes, affordable price, we simply couldn’t ask for more.
