Combining Korean food, BBQ, and AYCE with affordable price, Ssikkek surely makes an interesting option in town. The new location in Sunter is quite spacious and can accommodate up to 140 pax. It’s located next to Pertamina gas station, you can simply follow the map below for direction.

One major plus point here in Ssikkek Sunter is “NO TIME LIMIT“, you can slowly enjoy and devour all the food without being rushed by time limit. And another plus point specially for Moslem friends would be NO PORK & NO LARD for all menu in Ssikkek Sunter.

Besides Sunter, Ssikkek has another outlet in Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) area called Ssikkek Express with fewer options and cheaper price. Pork meat is available exclusively in PIK outlet only.

From BBQ meat section, everything looks fresh and appetizing like Original, Sweet, and Spicy Woosamgyup, Gyu-enoki Roll, Chicken Bacon, Chicken Sausage, Spicy Squid, Prawn, Sausage Skewer, Chicken Skewer, Gyu Tteok Roll, Spicy Chicken, Sweet Chicken, Beef Galbi, & Beef Bulgogi.

Most of the meat were nicely marinated so it’s tasty by its own already, for extra flavor kick they provide 3 sauce condiments. You can also wrap the meat with lettuce, ssamjang and kimchi. Don’t forget to get egg and cheese on the side of grill pan.

Being greedy, AnakJajan tried almost all of the items from BBQ section, our most favorite items would be Spicy Squid, Beef Bulgogi, Gyu-enoki Roll, and Spicy Woosamgyup, it was well marinated with well balanced flavor typical Korean seasoning.

For Budae Jjigae, we can choose beef or kimchi based soup, as for the ingredients, we can add anything we like from the buffet like ramyeon, veggie, mushroom, etc. Tips: try adding kimchi to the soup for extra flavor kick.

For made-to-order station, AnakJajan got Dolsot Bibimbap and Sundubu Jjigae. The Sundubu Jjigae turned out to be enjoyable, savory broth with generous amount of fluffy tofu and seafood.

As for their new addition of Cheese Sensation menu, AnakJajan opted for Chicken Cheese Dakgalbi. Initially we were quite full already and considering skipping this menu but we were curious about it so we ordered Chicken Cheese Dakgalbi and it didn’t disappoint. The spicy seasoning was well balanced and goes well with melted mozarella cheese without being too heavy.

Overall, our AYCE experience in Ssikkek Sunter surprisingly exceeded our expectations, great range of ingredients, interesting side dishes, good taste. It was satisfying and totally worth the price.
