AnakJajan visited Sushi Matsu’s newest outlet in Senopati. It has a clean minimalist decor with Japanese ornaments. Offering sushi as their main menu, Sushi Matsu has plenty of other non sushi dishes too such as teppanyaki, ricebowl/ donburi, udon, etc. Here are some of their popular & signature items.

One of their popular menu is Dry Ramen, you can add additional topping for example deep fried Soft Shell Crab.

Seafood Butter IDR 138k
Pricewise, compared to the generous ingredients, the size of seafood, we gotta say it’s worth the price. The seafood was nicely cooked, even the scallops were sweet and tender. It was fully covered in silky smooth savory butter sauce.

Saikoro Steak IDR 98k
Juicy teppanyaki steak nicely charred on the outside, seasoned nicely with butter sauce and best paired with crunchy garlic flakes. It was a nicely made dish, only the use of potato wedges & chili sauce were a bit confusing.

Unagi Don IDR 140k
Huge cut of grilled freshwater eel served on top of rice, pretty enjoyable.

Ebi Mentayaki IDR 98k
Anyone who loves mentai mayo gonna LOVE THIS!! The mayo sauce was full of cod roe generously so you won’t get creamy mayo sauce only, it goes well with grilled prawn. We wish they’re going to launch donburi with their homemade cod roe mayo coz it’s so good!

Matsu Chirasi IDR 178k
The chirashi has 9 kinds of assorted raw seafood on sushi rice. Gotta give the fresh seafood quality and colorful presentation double thumbs up.

Sashimi Mori Matsu IDR 168k
The sashimi platter has 5 kinds of sashimi. It has all the good elements we expected, fresh, thick generous cut, oishi!

As you can see, Sushi Maru serves both authentic and fusion menu for example this fusion roll has prawn, avocado, salmon, mayonaise, the use of mayonnaise definitely gave the sushi roll a nice creamy taste.
