JCF 2012 Closing Event “Eat, Drink & Donate” Charity Dinner

Setelah berlangsung selama kurang lebih sebulan dari 4 Oktober 2012, event Jakarta Culinary Festival 2012 ditutup dengan special closing gala dinner bertemakan ‘Eat, Drink & Donate Charity Dinner mempersembahkan masakan signature dari 7 orang Indonesia’s best chefs yang dipadukan dengan wine pilihan dari Yohan Handoyo – Dimatique International dimana hasil dari event ini akan didonasikan ke Drive Books Not Cars organization

Potongan ikan tuna segar disiram dengan saus oninawa yang ternyata mengandung wasabi. AnakJajan kurang bisa menikmati menu ini karena memang kurang suka dengan rasa wasabi, namun Cape Discovery’s Rose yang ringan memang pasangan yang tepat dan cocok untuk menu seperti ini.

Me likey! Aroma dan rasa pedas dari saus green curry cukup strong dengan struktur saus foamy, cocok dicocol kerupuk mamang, hanya saja potongan udang porsinya kecil dan seasoning pada udang agak biasa. Citarasa karinya yang cukup strong dapat dinetralisir oleh Cape Discovery Sauvignon Blanc yang fruity.

Not my fav, ravioli over cooked, yellow pepper sauce terlalu overpowering . Satu-satunya yg disukai yaitu crispy cheesenya yg crunchy.

Hidangan ala asian ini terdiri dari potongan ikan yg lembut, nasi gurih seperti hainam diberi saus santan sekilas seperti kari namun lebih light. Vina Ventisquero Grey Chardonnay yang ringan merupakan pasangan yang tepat utk hidangan yang cukup kaya bumbu.

Huge portion!! Porsi potongan lambnya sangat besar, tingkat kematangannya medium which is still too red for me that I cannot enjoy it.

My favorite of the night!! I’m craving for it now. Praline hazelnut dihancurkan kecil-kecil memberikan tekstur crunchy ketika dimakan dg ice cream amarettonya ditambah chocolate cake yang super moist and soft. Just cannot get enough of it!

Overall pada tahun ini event JCF 2012 sungguh meriah dan tertabur chef-chef terkenal dari berbagai tempat, closing gala dinner dengan 7 jenis hidangan dari chef ternama sungguh sebuah penutup yang meriah.
