Mujigae is a casual Korean food restaurant with more fun and young concept that has opened for a while with many outlets such as Kelapa Gading, Serpong, Bekasi, Karawaci, Bogor, Depok and Bandung area with another coming soon at Pluit area.

The interior itself is really eye catching with fun and colorful decoration and many Korean super star faces all over the restaurant. AnakJajan visited the Summarecon Mall Serpong area, the restaurant is very spacious and consist of two floors.

Known as digital Korean restaurant, another unique thing that maybe you won’t find at anywhere else but Mujigae is the use of iPad on each table, you can use the ipad to see their menu and order it directly, you can also use the selfie feature.

Now talking about the food, starting last week, Mujigae is launching new interesting menu called Bibimyun. Some of you maybe already familiar with the name of Bibimbap rite? Bowl of rice topped with various toppings, and Mujigae being creative created another version using Korean ramyun instead of rice that’s why it’s called BibiMyun, bowl of ramyun topped with various toppings.

Basicaly there are four toppings variety of Bibimyun available: Classic, Spicy Tokochi, Bulgogi and Beef Ham, and for the ramyun it is a dry version with two flavor base selection, Original and Spicy.

Classic Bibimyun IDR 34.5k
For the Classic Bibimyun, AnakJajan had the original ramyun topped with various toppings. AnakJajan must say that the toppings are genius, well seasoned dolsot minced meat, onion, shrimp crackers, crunchy batterered spring onion, crunchy deep fried battered egg and zucchini.
The original ramyun was savory and delicious, it blends really well with all of the toppings with many texture and flavor. This kind of combination between ramyun and toppings are simply irrestisible, you should try it urself.

Bibimyun with Beef Ham IDR 38.1k
Ingredients are all the same with Classic Bibimyun with additional beef ham toppings. Unlike the classic ones, AnakJajan had the Bibimyun Beef Ham with spicy ramyun. The spicy ramyun has a medium mild spiciness so you don’t need to worry because it won’t burn your tounge.

Bibimyun with Spicy Tokochi IDR 38.1k
Basically it’s a Classic Bibimyun with additional Spicy Tokochi topping. Same as Bibimyun Beef Ham, we also had it with spicy ramyun base. AnakJajan enjoyed the Tokochi very much we wish they will sell it as a la carte menu, it’s tteok or rice cake skewer you usually found at topokki but they smartly deep fried it with crunchy batter and then coated it with sweet spicy topokki sauce.

Banana Milk with Chocolate Pudding IDR 20.9k
Besides food, they are also having new beverage menu, that is Banana Milk with Matcha Pudding or Chocolate Pudding. You all might know already that banana milk is kinda popular at Korea too, now you can easily find it here. The banana milk is very light and not too sweet with silky smooth pudding texture.

Sea Salt Green Tea IDR 19k
AnakJajan enjoyed the unique contrast between the salty ice cream and sweet green tea, pour the green tea drink on top of the ice and sea salt ice cream and then mix it well to get a nice sweet and salty flavor combination in every sip.

Beef Sausage Topokki IDR 35.4k
Besides the original topokki, Mujigae also offer topokki with beef sausage consist of vegetables, tteok (rice cakes), fish cake and generous amount of beef sausage and topped with cruncky crackers.
Juicy beef sausage, chewy rice cake, cruncky crackers, savory rice cake are blending really with their signature sweet spicy topokki sauce, finger licking good!

Spicy Bulgogi IDR 47.2k
Spicy marinated grilled beef with noodle and topped with spring onion. AnakJajan love their mini grill making us easy to cook and control the heat. After grilling for a while the meat will be cooked resulting tender savory and a bit spicy seasoning bulgogi meat with a nice springy texture from the noodle.

Premium Beef BBQ IDR 68.1k
The premium beef was marinated already with their special seasoning. Because it’s thinly sliced you just grill it for a while.
The beef was very very tender and nicely marinated, AnakJajan love the balance sweet and savory seasoning in it, don’t forget to dip it in the samjang sauce to give an extra flavor kick.

Overall dining at Mujigae was fun, enjoyable, satisfying and of course affordable. Writing about it already making me drool myself, totally going to be back for more. Let’s Jajan!!
