Passion-Pomelo Tarts IDR 40k
pate sucree, almond cream, passion-pomelo curd, Swiss meringue, fresh pomelo, candied pomelozest, freeze-dried raspberries
This one instantly caught AnakJajan’s eyes with its simple yet pretty presentation. The tart itself was crunchy and not soggy at all while meringue itself was a bit too watery and sweet but the acidity both from pomelo & passion curd could balance the sweetness perfectly.
Matcha-Choco Croissant IDR 35k
matcha croissant, dark chocolate
On the other side, this croissant was totally disappointing. It was overly baked until dry and extremely bitter on the surface we couldn’t finish it. The dark chocolate filling was also disappointing, instead of soft melty chocolate filling, it was dry and not enjoyable in terms of texture.
Super Strength IDR 50k
chocolate joconde, whiskey and coffee syrup, dark chocolate cremeux, cocoa glaze
Luckily we had this one to rescue. Extremely rich dark chocolate cake with a hint of coffee. It has a very nice and pleasant moist texture also flavor.
Overall, Beau could be a great option for afternoon coffee/ tea break especially for bread and pastries lovers. Let’s Jajan!!
