MEATERS STEAK & RIBS Jakarta

Meaters located in Citra 6 and Elang Laut PIK (Pantai Indah Kapuk) is a restaurant specialized in quality steak and ribs in affordable price.

Following the first outlet in Citra 6, Meaters recently has opened the second outlet in Elang Laut PIK. One of the great things in this restaurant that we love is the pricing, AnakJajan must say that Meaters is very affordable with price range from IDR 39k to IDR 169k for main dishes. If you guys are looking for tasty steak with affordable price, this place is highly recommended.

Beef Steak and BBQ Pork Ribs are Meaters’ speciality but other than that, Meaters also offers Chicken, Fish, Spaghetti, Nachos, Chicken Wings and not to forget the best selling Crackling Pork Knuckle.

AnakJajan have visited this restaurant twice, we visited the outlet in Pantai Indah Kapuk Elang Laut area. The restaurant consists of two floors, it is very cozy with white brick walls, wooden table and mural drawing. Other than PIK outlet, Meaters is also can be found in Citra Garden 6 Sixth Avenue. Let’s see start the tasting session shall we?

Nachos Supreme IDR 30k
This was our favorite appetizer in Meaters. Crispy tortilla chips with generous and flavorful tomato salsa and melting cheese. We love how evenly distributed the sauce and cheese are, making sure every piece of chips are covered with it. It’s simply satisfying.

Chargrilled Chicken IDR 39 Single/ IDR 59k Double with 2 side dishes
Chicken fillet grilled to perfection with nice charred aroma outside yet still tender inside. The chicken was already delicious by itself since it has been marinated with flavorful seasoning, love it!

Wagyu Special IDR 82k with 2 side dishes
You can request how well you want your steak to be cooked, rare, medium rare, medium, medium well or well done. AnakJajan had our wagyu special cooked in medium and the Wagyu Special was absolutely delicious! In fact, we’re craving for it already.

Meat was extremely tender yet juicy with nice grilled charred aroma outside. It tasted so good by itself since it was soooo well marinated, ahhh I’m drooling already.

About the sauce, all sauces in Meaters are homemade, there are three options, Mushroom, Barbecue and Black Pepper. Instead of pouring the sauce over the meat, it is highly recommended for customer to dip the meat into the sauce because the meat dishes in Meaters are well marinated and rich in flavor already by itself. FYI, you can get 2 sauces for each portion of steak, Barbecue sauce is sweet yet tangy, Black Pepper is very rich and peppery with sweet and savory flavor, while our favorite sauce is the rich Mushroom sauce with savory taste and mushroom chunks.

Original Baby Back Ribs IDR 79k regular/ IDR 140k large with 2 side dishes
Baby Back Ribs are available in regular (half) and large portion, there are three options of seasoning for the ribs, Original, Honey and Red Hot. The ribs was tender and fall of the bone easily, a simply satisfying and fingers-licking-good dish.

Specially for Chicken, Fish, Ribs and Steak dishes are including 2 huge portion of free side dishes of your choice, there are 6 side dishes available in Meaters, French Fries, Mashed Potato, Tasty Rice, House Salad, Pasta Salad and Coleslaw. You can also order additional side dishes by adding IDR 15k/ portion.

Crackling Pork Knuckle IDR 169k
Here is another must try dish! The pork knuckle is special, it has been seasoned with lots of spices, slow cooked for long hours and after that they deep fried it to produce a super crispy outer. Once you cut it, you’ll hear a loud crunch sound effect from the crackling.

The skin was very thin yet very crispy just like crackers while the meat inside was very soft and tender, we love to dip it into the red hot sauce for extra spicy kick. The portion is extremely big, honestly IDR 169k for this huge portion of pork knuckle is such a great deal.

Overall, Meaters is indeed a place where you can find delicious meats in affordable price. All dishes we tried were flavorful, executed really well and satisfying. Definitely will be back again for their delicious dishes. Let’s Jajan!!
