Hello, greetings from Japan!! Me and Mr. Jajan are currently at Japan while writing this post and we are on mission to visit best places for cherry blossom or sakura viewing in Japan particularly in Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto.
At this moment, the blooming season has reached its peak time on early April 2016. AnakJajan will write a long and complete guide for sakura hunting once we’re back in Jakarta, but meanwhile here are some of our favorite shots:
Shinjuku Gyoen
Shinjuku Gyoen is the top recommended place for cherry blossom viewing in Tokyo. Besides having lots of sakura trees and amazing landscape, best part from this park is the early and late bloom trees. It is the best spot for you who visit Tokyo too early or too late from the peak blooming season. For more info and picture, you can check our review on following link https://anakjajan.com/2014/05/23/shinjuku-gyoen-park-tokyo-japan/
Nakameguro River
Another top recommended spot for cherry blossoms viewing is Nakameguro river area, there are around 800 cherry trees for several hundred meters creating an amazing sight with so many bridges along the river giving the visitor perfect spots for cherry blossoms viewing and photography. During the night on blooming season, you can also enjoy the illuminated trees.
Chidorigafuchi
Another outstanding cherry blossom spot, you can rent boat and enjoy the pretty scenery. During the evening, the trees are lit up until 10pm.
Well, that’s all for today, we will continue our sakura hunting mission. You can check our instagram @ANAKJAJAN or hashtag #AnakJajanJAPAN or our Snapchat: ANAKJAJAN for more live updates. Arigatougozaimasu!
