DOUBLE POTS – Cilandak Town Square, Jakarta

Shabu-shabu or hotpot dish is commonly known as a perfect meal for sharing for group but nowadays personal hotpot is getting popular in Jakarta and Double Pots is one of the restaurants with personal pot concept, the restaurant is located in Citos or Cilandak Town Square, South Jakarta.

Double Pots serves hotpot dish in personal portion with various options of broth, Kimchi, Mala Thang, Curry and the latest one Tomyum. FYI for Moslem friends, all dishes in Double Pots contain no pork and no lard.

Tomyum Hot Soup
Tomyum soup is the newest soup flavor with rich spicy sour flavors typical tomyum, it comes with huge tiger prawn, AnakJajan enjoyed it till the last sip, must try!

Crispy Chicken Double Pot Set IDR 85k
For Double Pot Set you can choose soup for the hotpot, Taiwanese spicy, curry, Japanese seafood, beef or Taiwanese BBQ soup and then choose the side dish. For this one, AnakJajan opted for Curry hotpot and Crispy Chicken for side dish.

The hotpot consists of fish ball, mixed vegetables, enoki mushroom, chikuwa, tofu, narutomaki, etc. The curry soup is more likely to Malaysian style of curry and the Crispy Chicken was simply amazing, nicely fried with crispy texture on the outside while juicy on the inside.

Korean Spicy Hot Soup IDR 70k
A festive hotpot consists of fish cake, beef sausage, shimeji mushroom, korean noodle, kimchi, cheese slice, narutomaki, beef slice, fried fishball, mixed vegetables, chikuwa, crab nugget and seafood tofu. Specially for this one, they use flavorful Kimchi broth with medium level of spiciness.

Overall, great concept, nice flavor, AnakJajan really like the personal hotpot concept, we heard that they will open at Gandaria City very soon and currently and they’re considering to open in North Jakarta too (Kelapa Gading or Muara Karang/ Pluit area), can’t wait! Let’s Jajan!!
