Food scene in Muara Karang/ Pluit area has grown into more and more interesting lately with lots of new hip restaurants and cafes. One of the latest addition in Muara Karang, North Jakarta area is Thai food restaurant, Thai Fook.

Thai Fook is located near Muara Karang Market, near Aroma Sop Seafood. They serve various authentic Thai dishes with fresh and live seafood.

3 Layers Tea IDR 22k // Thai Tea IDR 22k
3 Layers Tea has a unique and delicious combination between black tea, cream and sugar malaka with the right amount of creaminess and sweetness.

Mama Tomyam Creamy Pot IDR 88k
This dish is inspired by the happening and popular Mama Tomyam Pot dish in Bangkok, and now you can find it in Thai Fook. There are two options for this dish, original clear tomyam broth or creamy rich tomyam broth. AnakJajan have tasted both and we personally enjoyed the creamy version more, the tomyam soup was spicy, sour, flavorful and rich altogether complete with lots of toppings such as noodle, fish balls, pork belly, prawn, crabstick and chikuwa.

Pineapple Fried Rice IDR 40k
The rice was rich in spices that resemble the aroma of Indian curry with sweet savory flavors topped with cashew nuts and raisin.

Tomyam Goong IDR 59k
It tasted similar with Mama Tomyam Creamy Pot above only with different toppings, fresh prawns and mushrooms.

Steamed Prawns
The steamed prawns were juicy and big. Sooo fresh and satisfying.

Seabass Tomyam IDR 148k
Thai Fook offers fresh live fish dish, just like this one was cooked by order. The fish was meaty and fresh with flavorful tomyum soup.

Prawn Cake IDR 39k
One of the best selling dishes there. Deep fried prawn cakes, it was simple and delicious, crunchy on the outside while packed with prawn flavors on the inside.

Overall, Thai Fook serves appealing yet appetizing Thai food, it was spicy, sour and flavorful altogether, aroi!! Let’s Jajan!!
