Sharing the latest update of Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) area food scene, The Seafood Tower restaurant that has just opened few days ago that is specialized in Korean 9-tiered Seafood Tower.
The new seafood restaurant has a very unique and special way of serving their seafood dishes using tiered steamer. The restaurant serves various seafood dishes influenced with Korean flavors since the restaurant is inspired by seafood tower restaurant in Seoul, South Korea. It is located in PIK area near P&B Eatery and Shirokuma Cafe.
The Seafood Tower offers 4 packages from 3, 5, 7 or 9 tiers for 2 until 9 pax from IDR 249k to IDR 1.489k with selected dishes for each package. Other than the packages, customers are also able to order a la carte seafood dishes according to their preference from 2 pieces or 100gr of seafood starting from IDR 15k.
Kimchi and Korean tea are served for free as complimentary typical Korean restaurant.
7 Tiers IDR 889k + Steamed Lobster (Market price)
AnakJajan and friends had total 8 Tiers, 7 Tiers Seafood Tower plus one tier of additional Steamed Lobster. The recommended way to enjoy it is by eating the seafood one by one tier from the top to bottom.
Live Clams (a la carte IDR15k/ 100gr) & Black Mussels (a la carte IDR 29k/ 100gr)
The clams and mussels were fresh and already seasoned with simple savory seasoning. For extra flavor kick, you can dip it into sauce condiments, sweet spicy sauce or soy sauce with garlic, chili and spring onion.

Steamed Live Prawns (a la carte IDR 39k/ 100gr)
Out of all tiers, this one was my personal favorite, the prawns was very fresh and sweet, it was perfectly cooked and seasoned nicely with savory garlicky seasoning.

Chef’s Seasonal Menu Prime Beef (IDR 29k/ 100gr)
The seasonal menu was prime beef, thin slices of beef with light seasoning steamed perfectly with soft tender texture. Sooo good!!

Seafood Tteokbokki with Cheese Fondue (a la carte IDR 59k)
Another favorite dish, seafood tteokbokki with mild spicy seasoning served with melting cheese. The combination between spicy tteokbokki and savory melting cheese was sooo addictive, a must try whenever you visit The Seafood Tower.

Oysters (a la carte IDR 39k/ 2pcs) & Half Shelled Scallop (a la carte IDR 49k/ 2pcs)
Oyster was seasoned with caramelized onion while scallop was cooked on top vermicelli.

Steamed Live Crabs
Live crabs were seasoned with simple savory seasoning. Personally not a fan of this one since it was kinda troublesome to get the meat out of the shell.
Steamed Lobster
Lobster was topped with cheese and spicy mayo sauce, the seasoning was pretty good but our lobsters were overcooked since it was placed at bottom tier, and it took us a while to finish the upper tiers. We would highly recommend you to finish your seafood as fast as possible to make sure to get the perfectly cooked seafood.

Korean Ginseng Soup (a la carte IDR 49k)
At the bottom tier, we had Korean Ginseng Soup with tofu and vegetables, other than Korean Ginseng Soup, they also have Kimchi Soup for you to choose. The soup was packed of juices from various seafood from the layers above it, even though the staff has added more broth, personally it was too rich and salty for our liking.

Overall, The Seafood Tower offers a new and unique way to enjoy seafood, the seafood were fresh and enjoyable, we highly recommend you to come in group with friends or family since it’s more suitable for sharing. Let’s Jajan!!
