SevenFriday opens the first lifestyle retail-lounge concept store named SevenFriday Space in Plaza Indonesia where they combine restaurant & bar and a watch store in one space.

It creates a space with new shopping experience where customer can enjoy having drink, lunch or dinner with friends and of course try or buy watches.

SevenFriday is Swiss lifestyle watch brand founded in 2012 with bold, futuristic and industrial design, therefore in accordance with the design of the watch, they designed SevenFriday Space with chic industrial concept using industrial concrete, copper, stainless steel, stone, wood and leather resulting a very masculine place.

SevenFriday Space will open for public on 1st July 2016, as seen on our snapchat:ANAKJAJAN, AnakJajan and friends had the privilege to try their food before its opening day. SevenFriday Space serves wide range of alcoholic drinks along with non alcoholic drinks, light bites and heavy meal as well, Chef Fernando Sindu, the genius behind Benedict and Umabo is the one in-charge in the kitchen here where he created western-Asian fusion dishes, here are some of the dishes we tried.

Pork Belly Skewers IDR 35k
For starter, I had their pork belly skewers, each portion comes with two skewers. It was slightly too salty but other than that, everything was awesome, soft tender flavorful pork belly with amazing black garlic aioli, fried coconut, torch ginger flower sambal and chives

Beef Skewers IDR 45k
kemangi ‘chimi’, andaliman peppers salt, pickled shallots

Ultimo Fries IDR 35k
This one was my personal favorite, it was super addictive you won’t be able to stop after the first bite. The crunchy deep fried handcut shoestring was topped with savory toppings, umami cheese, mushroom glace with a slight hint of truffle oil I think.

Kale Caesar Salad IDR 75k
kick ass dressing, herb croutons, soft-boiled egg, fried chicken

Both salads were decent but nothing to shout about, fresh crunchy greens with generous portion for sharing.

Tuna Tomato Salad IDR 85k
heirloom tomato, confit tuna, tomato sauce, tomato chips, toasted nori

Portugese Chicken IDR 150k
Chicken was nicely grilled, it was tender juicy with spicy seasoning typical peri-peri chicken and served with creamy corn and sweet potato.

Smoky SevenFriday Burger IDR 125k
Mr. Jajan and friends enjoyed it, burger with beef patty using prime beef, smoke double cut bacon (pork/beef), umami cheese, smoked jalapeno ketchup, buttery bun. The patty was juicy tender, bun was soft fluffy, it was an enjoyable burger only the patty and bacon were too salty for our liking.

Pork Chop IDR 145k
This one was the most popular dish of the night, it was our top favorite dish. Gigantic huge pork chop with Balinese ‘Sambal Matah’ served with broth and seasoned rice. The pork chop was soooo tender, it was seasoned nicely also with savory taste and aromatic ‘Sambal Matah’, the rice was also fantastic, it was cooked nicely with fluffy texture and seasoned with garlicky savory seasoning with a bit of tangy zest. Must try!

Orange Banana Foster IDR 55k
Pretty looking and yummy dessert to end our meal, Orange Banana Foster consists of caramelized banana, orange, toasted bread, jam, vanilla ice cream, it was a simple yet very addictive combination.

Pandan Creme Brulee IDR 45k
Soft pandan custard dessert with caramelized sugar on top served with sweet grilled pineapple and coconut cream.

Overall, awesome food, great music playlist, nice space, congratulations SevenFriday Indonesia for the opening of SevenFriday Space. Let’s Jajan!
