Currently the newest place to eat in Senopati area, Flip Burger by Chef Afit the man behind Holycow Steak.

This new burger place just opened literally few days ago in Senopati street located across Caribou Coffee and Sake+ Senopati. There are 5 types of burger in Flip Burger, Beef, Fish, Cheese, Double Cheese and Smacker with price range from IDR 30k to IDR 55k, and for side dish there are four side dishes available, Chicken Finger IDR 18k, Chicken Skin IDR 16k, Crinkle Cut Fries IDR 15k and Bacon & Cheese Tots Fries IDR 20k, judging from the price, AnakJajan must say that the food at Flip Burger is pretty affordable especially for Senopati area.

Flip Burger opens daily from 11am to 10pm and it is doing really well for a new restaurant, it’s always packed with customers and Gojek courier and sold out during lunch time so we ended up visiting the restaurant on dinner time.

Cheese Burger IDR 35k
At first AnakJajan wanted to try the Smacker Burger (double cheese, double patty and beef bacon burger) but sadly Smacker and Double Cheese Burger were not available for dinner time at this moment, so we settled with Cheese Burger. For the bun, they use Brioche bun with nice dark golden brown color, the cheese burger consists of beef patty, caramelized onion, cheese and creamy sauce that kinda resembles the taste of spicy mayo.

The patty was tender and well seasoned, it was a decent burger for IDR 35k, I personally think that the satisfaction level will be different and it will be more satisfying if we had the double cheese or smacker burger.

Flip C Combo IDR 61k
Fish Burger costs IDR 34k, AnakJajan had it with Fries and Softdrink combo for IDR 61k. The deep fried fish was pretty enjoyable and not fishy with thick cut served with tartar sauce and cheese, sadly the cheese wasn’t as melted as it’s supposed to be.

Chicken Skin IDR 16k
Simple deep fried chicken skin with golden color and crispy texture, a crunchy addictive guilty pleasure indeed.

Overall, Flip Burger is a great addition for Jakarta food scene especially in Senopati area with their affordable burger concept. AnakJajan highly suggest you to visit early in the lunch time since the burger selection is limited for dinner time at this moment. Let’s Jajan!!
