MAARKEZE BY OMBE KOFIE – GRAND INDONESIA, Jakarta (UPDATED)

Powered by Ombe Kofie, one of our favorite coffee shops in town, the newly opened Maarkeze in Grand Indonesia Mall is an exciting addition to the central area of Jakarta especially for coffee lovers.

Officially opened for public on 28th September 2016, Maarkeze is opened by the same owner of Ombe Kofie in North Jakarta and Djule Coffee in South Jakarta. The opening of Maarkeze is expected to become headquarter or hangout spot for coffee enthusiasts in central Jakarta area.

Ice Choco Coffee Malt IDR 55k // Regular White IDR 45k

Compared to its predecessors, the specialty coffee shop Maarkeze located inside Central Department Store 1st floor offers a more varied coffee and food menu. With price ranging from IDR 30k to IDR 125k for the coffee, besides the hot coffee drinks, Maarkeze also offers variety of cold drink such as cold brew, ice choco malt, salted caramel. As for the food, crostini or toast, sandwich and mini pizza are available for customers with price ranging from IDR 60k to IDR 70k.

Ice Choco Coffee Malt IDR 55k // Regular White IDR 45k
Regular white or cappuccino was nice, it reminds of the regular white in Djule Coffee. Ice Choco Coffee Malt was a delightful iced chocolate drink with slight thick texture from the malt and bold flavor from coffee.

Cold Brew Nitro IDR 50k
One of the coffee drinks in Maarkeze that makes us curious is Cold Brew Nitro where they combine cold brew with nitrogen to produce a cold coffee drink. The use of nitrogen for cold brew drink is definitely a nice idea, it gives the coffee a very nice smooth yet light texture with the perfect cold level.

Overall, AnakJajan got to say that the opening of specialty coffee shop Maarkeze is a great addition to central Jakarta especially for coffee lovers, other than international franchise coffee shops now coffee lovers has more options for coffee break in the Grand Indonesia Mall. Let’s Jajan!!
