DJULE KOFI Coffee Shop – Melawai, Jakarta

Another new coffee shop in town, this time in Melawai South Jakarta Area, Djule Kofi by Ombe Kofie.

From north to south, Djule Kofie is a new coffee shop brought by the popular Ombe Kofie from Pluit north Jakarta area. Ombe Kofie is one of our favorite coffee shops in Jakarta, it is also one of the best places for good coffee in Jakarta area and now they have expanded their business to the south Jakarta area.

Djule Kofie is located Melawai Raya street, at the same row with Papaya supermarket. Compared to Ombe, Djule Kofie has more spacious space with huge glass window facing lush green trees resulting a very cozy atmosphere.

Regular White IDR 40k
Here in Djule, for cappuccino they name it with Regular White. AnakJajan had it with Guatemala beans, the coffee was very smooth and nice with hint of fruity taste.

Mini Flight IDR 50k
Mini Flight consists of Mini White, Espresso and Sparkling Water. Mini White is the nick name of Piccolo coffee, AnakJajan had the piccolo with Brazil beans that has nutty profile. FYI one of the differences from cappuccino and piccolo is the amount of milk, cappuccino contains more milk than piccolo, so if you enjoy coffee with bolder taste, piccolo could be a nice choice.

Besides the Mini Flight, they also have Regular Flight that consists of Regular White or Cappucino, Espresso and Sparkling Water.

Choco Tart IDR 45k
To accompany the coffee, Djule only offers limited selection of cake or tart. During our visit there were only two options, Chocolate Tart and Quiche.
AnakJajan opted for the tart with dense texture and bold dark chocolate taste, perfect companion for coffee.

Other than coffee, for more option, Djule also offers various premium tea for customer.

Overall, in comparison with Ombe, both Djule and Ombe serve great coffee with friendly people, Ombe has a smaller space with more homey feeling while Djule is quite spacious with modern casual ambiance. AnakJajan are really glad to see our favorite coffee shop growing from north to south. Cheers to more and better coffee scene in Jakarta. Let’s Jajan!
