Hello October!! Who’s excited for Halloween?!! To celebrate the upcoming Halloween, AnakJajan attended Halloween Party and Pocky Deco event held by Glico Pocky and Cosmo Club some time ago.
The main highlight of this event is Halloween Pocky Deco where the attendants will get a demonstration on how to make halloween inspired food with Pocky conducted by pastry chef and then try making it by ourselves. You can check the Youtube video below for snippets of the fun Pocky Halloween Party event
The event was held in Kaffeine at The Foundry 8 SCBD and the venue was decorated nicely with kawaii halloween theme decoration such as spooky jack-o’-lantern inspired balloons, jack-o’-lantern pinata, bat shaped paper cutouts, etc and of course full of Pocky with various flavors including both of my favorite flavors Choco Banana and Matcha.
After having lunch and munching lots of Pocky sticks, the event continued with main activity which was Pocky Deco party started by having the chef giving us demonstration on how to make spooky halloween food by combining Pocky sticks and dessert.
The recipes are very simple and easy to follow, AnakJajan thought we should share it here with you all so you can try make your own spooky halloween inspired food using Pocky for the upcoming halloween.
Jack-o’-lantern Macaron Stick
This one is the easiest to make I think. You need an orange color macaron, pocky stick and an edible pen. You simply need to stick the macaron with pocky and then draw Jack-o’-lantern’s face, for Pocky you can choose any flavor based on your preference, in this picture we used Pocky Vanilla and Cocoa Flavor. FYI, edible pen is available at baking ingredients store.

Witch Cupcake
This one requires more steps and ingredients, cupcake, buttercream or whipped cream, Pocky sticks and fondant icing. Fondant icing has a soft texture like clay and it is very easy to be formed into various shapes, as an example the chef created witch hat and then witch legs with Matcha Pocky sticks to make it looks like the witch had fallen into the cream.

Pocky Monster
It is an easy idea but it requires patience since you need to glue Pocky sticks with melted chocolate and then decorate it with monster face shaped fondant. For this one we used classic Pocky Chocolate Flavor.
Chocolate Pocky Spider
This one is my favorite, spooky Spider made from chocolate and Pocky Chocolate Flavor. To create the spider legs, you have to cut the Pocky Chocolate Flavor sticks into two pieces then glue it together with melted chocolate and add white and black fondant for the eyes.
Pocky Brownie Grave Yard
The scariest among all halloween food creations. Cut Pocky Chocolate Flavor sticks into three sections and stick it together with melted chocolate to shape it like tombstone then stick the “tombstone” and Pocky sticks to chocolate brownie, then voila a spooky Pocky Brownie Grave Yard.

These two spooky looking creations are mine, I made Spider Macaron using Pocky sticks and then scary Zombie Finger Cupcake, to make it more dramatic I should have added Pocky sticks around the finger to shape it like fence, but I got too excited and forgot about it, nonetheless it was fun though.
It turns out that halloween inspired food with Pocky is really easy and fun to make right? Yet it looks really nice and also instagram-able 😉 Now you can try making your own Pocky Halloween food. Happy Halloween in advance!!
