YOISHO RAMEN – Gunawarman, Jakarta

Calling all noodle lovers, meet the new ramen place in town, Yoisho Ramen at Gunawarman area, South Jakarta.

Located right across Prodia Gunawarman, Yoisho Ramen serves relatively affordable dishes ranging from IDR 25k to 55k (no pork). As the name suggests, ramen is their signature dish, there are types of ramen there; dry or soup ramen. AnakJajan love the fact that they’re using homemade ramen noodle for their ramen menu.

The ramen shop has medium seating capacity with modern design, open kitchen, brick walls, and cute mural drawings making it a nice backdrop for Instagram photo.

Chicken Gyoza IDR 39k
Let’s start with something light first. For appetizer Yoisho Ramen has a few options such as Chicken Gyoza. The chicken gyoza come with nice charred bottom, the skin is elastic and the filling is generous and juicy.

Vegetable Bao (spicy / no spicy) IDR 33k
Crunchy filling with assorted vegetables and soft bao, what’s there not to love?😋

Chicken Karaage IDR 39k
Deep fried till golden, the chicken karaage is seasoned nicely and not greasy, an enjoyable one indeed.

Home Made Kimchi 40k
The homemade kimchi is quite fermented but still in an enjoyable level, it has a nice crunchy texture with well balanced seasoning with subtle sweet taste in it.

Spicy Miso Cheese Ramen IDR 55k
For soup ramen, AnakJajan had Spicy Miso Cheese Ramen which has a bold flavor and thick rich soup. It comes with sweet grilled corn, ramen egg with creamy yolk, chicken fillet, kimchi, spring onion, and cheese. Miso flavor plays a major role in this dish with medium spiciness level.

Double thumbs up to the chicken, AnakJajan can clearly see that they pay great attention to the chicken, so tender with seasoning fully absorbed into it.

Shoyu Mazemen Ramen IDR 55k
For dry ramen version, AnakJajan tried Shoyu Mazemen Ramen, the noodle is dressed with simple shoyu-based dressing with clean savory and subtle sweet taste. For toppings, it has bamboo shoot, zucchini, ramen egg with creamy yolk, nori seaweed, chicken, cheese, and crunch. Everything was lovely and complement each other nicely but personally we prefer clean taste without the cheese, but it depends on personal taste either you like it creamy or clean.😊
