PISON COFFEE JAKARTA, Senopati

From Bali to Jakarta, Pison Coffee is now open in Senopati area, South Jakarta.

Before our big AYCE meal in Yakinikuya, AnakJajan decided to have a quick visit to the newly opened Pison for coffee break so this would be just a short review about it.

Situated in Senopati area, Pison Coffee occupies the same building previously used by Mojo restaurant (closed). For coffee lovers in Bali, Pison Coffee has been known as one of the good ones there.

It seems that the menu selection here in Jakarta is pretty much similar with Bali outlet with espresso based Coffee, All Day Breakfast items, Salad, Snacks, Soup, and other main course dishes like Burger, Pasta, Fried Rice, Curry, etc. For coffee the price is ranging from IDR 30k to IDR 60k

Espresso Avocado IDR 60k
Stated as one of the “House Special” items, we simply have to give it a try. It’s basically avocado juice, chocolate syrup, vanilla ice cream, espresso. The coffee is very bold and dark roasted therefore taste of coffee is more dominant with subtle avocado taste.

Brioche French Toast IDR 65k
It looks pretty and it tastes good as well. Classic simple fluffy eggy French Toast with caramelized banana, berries, maple syrup. We enjoyed it till the last bite.

Cappuccino IDR 35k + Bonsoy IDR 12k
For cappuccino, AnakJajan requested to change the regular milk with Australia’s famous soy milk Bonsoy. Gotta give the barista two thumbs up for making neat latte art since latte art with Bonsoy can be quite difficult. However the the cappuccino failed to hit the spot, the consistency was a tad watery, maybe we were just unlucky or we should have ordered classic cappuccino without bonsoy.🤔
