KEDAI KOKO HO – Alam Sutera & Muara Karang

Meet the exciting new comer, KEDAI KOKO HO in Alam Sutera, Tangerang and Muara Karang serving old-school Roti Gempal, coffee and other items typical kopitiam food that are worth raving!

AnakJajan recently visited the first outlet in Alam Sutera, the shop is easy to find thanks to the eye catching signage on the main street. By the time we write this post, they have opened the second outlet in Muara Karang area in front of Thai Fook.

Based on the menu list, AnakJajan can say that Kedai Koko Ho’s specialty is Roti Gempal, it’s a kind of toast filled with classic fillings, aside from that they also serve Half Boiled Egg, Indomie creations, Pisang Srikaya, Fried Rice, and many choice of beverages from coffee based to no coffee based, the kind of comfort food that give us the reason the visit frequently.

Indomie Goreng Kokoho IDR 16k
This dish is PHENOMENAL!! So so so sooooo good! Out of many Indomie creations out there, Kedai Koko Ho’s Indomie Goreng has won my heart, honestly it’s one of the most memorable Indomie creation ever! The taste reminds us of Mie Goreng Jawa or Mie Tek Tek but with Indomie seasoning, not too dry and with lots of toppings. For more enjoyment, you can order additional topping for IDR 5k/ item such as Saus Telur Asin, Kornet, Sosis, Keju, Bakso.

Pisang Srikaya IDR 22k
Another item that tastes DA BOMB! A killer combination between banana fritter and sweet coconut jam or Srikaya with great consistency and sweetness. Dayum!

Kopi Susu Kokoho IDR 18k(hot), 20k(iced)
Coffee makes a perfect companion for the food there. Their signature coffee drink has an enjoyable balance of milk and coffee available both in hot and iced version.

Es Alpukat IDR 24k
Classic tasty combination that simply cannot go wrong. The smooth rich creamy avocado juice is complemented by coffee, Milo powder, and chocolate ice cream resulting an irresistible drink.

ROTI GEMPAL

Let’s talk about their specialty, basically Roti Gempal is classic loaf of bread being toasted and filled with various fillings and AnakJajan gotta admit that Kedai Koko Ho makes a good one.

It’s available in classic or wheat version and sweet or savory topping.
The choice of toppings available: Nogat, Meisses, Milo, Cokelat Keju, Srikaya, Abon, Telor Kornet, you can order combination or half & half with 2 toppings of your choice as well.

Kombinasi Asin Telor Kornet & Abon IDR 28k (full loaf)
One major thing that we love from Roti Gempal here is the bread texture, both classic and wheat have super FLUFFY AND SOFT texture it will not make you thirsty. Even the wheat version is fluffy and soft just the way we like. We highly recommend you to try the Telor Kornet filling because it’s sooo good! The savory corned beef omelette and mayonnaise goes well with wheat bread.

Srikaya FTW!!! Lots of love for the silky smooth srikaya jam there, it comes in generous portion.

Abon IDR 18k (half loaf)/ 26k (full loaf)
The Abon or meatfloss topping surprisingly is very enjoyable thanks to the soft bun texture and mayonnaise for moisture.

Kombinasi Manis IDR 28k (full loaf)
For sweet combination, AnakJajan opted for the Nogat and Cokelat Keju, both classic toppings are tasty.

Overall, AnakJajan’s visit to Kedai Koko Ho left us impressed. We need more new places serving good stuff like this!! Give it a try and we’re sure you’ll keep coming back for more👌🏻
