The idea of staycation always gets me excited, the comfy room, the relaxing vibes, the food. AnakJajan recently had a weekend staycation in Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta, it remains one of our favorites in town.

Our most favorite part of Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta is the pool, it’s surrounded by vast green area with lots of trees, it gives us the relaxing holiday vibes and feels like we’re not in Jakarta anymore. We call it green paradise in the middle of concrete jungle.

Upon arriving, we were welcomed by complimentary sweets from the hotel, Mr. Jajan also received a warm birthday cake and card, gotta give Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta double thumbs up for the thoughtfulness.

We stayed at Horizon Club Room which located in higher floors with picturesque views of the Jakarta skyline. It feels like a home away from home.

Of course one of the most exciting part from staycation is the buffet breakfast!! As you all know, Satoo is undoubtedly one of the most popular hotel buffet in Jakarta. We woke up in high spirits knowing that we are going to have a morning feast 😀

The buffet spread is so tempting we want to try everything. From freshly baked pastries, Indonesian food, porridge, Chinese food, sushi, to Indian food, they have it all here. We carefully take a lil bit of everything and try it all, we left the restaurant fully satisfied.

Anyway, talking about staycation, we have one important tips to share with you about hotel booking process. There’s a new feature called “Pay at Hotel” by Traveloka that surely will help you to plan your perfect trip by allowing you to reserve your hotel now and pay later at the hotel.

Usually when it comes to holiday planning, one of the major thing to do is to book a hotel, usually all the great hotels get fully booked fast especially on high season, sighhh…. -Add card details and confirm the booking. You will receive the hotel voucher afterwards.

For “Pay at Hotel” feature, you will be asked for credit card information but don’t worry it’s not for payment, it’s only used as guarantee, payment will be made when staying at the hotel.
