X WAGYU RESTAURANT – Kemang

Wagyu, wagyu everything!! Calling all meat lovers, meet the new Wagyu specialty restaurant in Kemang area called X WAGYU.

As the name suggests, X Wagyu’s specialty is Wagyu beef, so expect to find selection of Wagyu beef dishes carefully curated by the owner. From the open kitchen, we can see the display of Wagyu beef and how they prepare the order.

X Wagyu uses Tokusen Wagyu. Upon ordering, they’ll showed us the meat before cooking it. As you can see, the meat has a beautiful marbling in it, it will definitely taste awesome if cooked right.

Fried Tempeh IDR 25k
Well this is new and probably the most luxurious fried tempeh we’ve ever tried. Fried tempeh just got leveled up since they deep fried it in Wagyu Fat!! Yesss you read it right, WAGYU FAT!! The tempeh was crunchy on the outside, savory with delightful beef aroma in it, tasteful and addictive, served with chili sweet soy sauce to compliment it.

Satay x Wagyu IDR 95k
You can choose between sweet soy sauce or yakiniku sauce for the wagyu beef skewer. AnakJajan opted for classic Indonesia flavor with sweet soy sauce, the satay was grilled beautifully, tender meaty and easy to chew.

Burger x Wagyu IDR 105k
Made with Wagyu beef, expect to find burger with uber juicy meaty beef patty. It’s served with mushroom sauce, caramelized onion and veggies for extra flavor kick without distracting the meaty flavor. Simple but tasteful.

Prime Chuck Roll Steak x Wagyu IDR 250k
Our Prime Chuck Roll Wagyu Steak was grilled perfectly just the way we like, it was beauty on the plate for real! Pink in the center, shiny, juicy with just in the right amount of seasoning. The meat was easy to chew and melt in the mouth easily, so good we enjoyed it with just a bit of sea salt. As companion, it was served with fries, salad, fried garlic, mushroom, and Western/ Japanese sauce.

Overall, if you’re looking for a new place to go for quality Wagyu beef dishes in relatively reasonable price, simply put X Wagyu in your list, we’re sure you’ll enjoy it.
