Summer Masterpiece IDR 65k (Pancake/Waffle)

What menu do you always order whenever you visit Pancious? Is it pancake/ waffle or pasta? Is it classic all time favorite menu or do you like to try their new menu creation?

Well for us, it depends on our mood, sometimes we visit Pancious simply for their classic pancake, on the other occasion we visit the restaurant for their pasta dishes.

I remember clearly, back in our university days, me and Mr. Jajan used to visit Pancious for special occasion and some of their menu remain our favorite up until now like the fruit cocktail, original pancake, baby potato, and the taste remains the same, consistently good.

On our recent visit, AnakJajan got some of our favorite items along with their new menu that look incredibly tempting and instantly caught our attention, let’s see how it tastes.

Fresh Fruit Cocktail IDR 66k
Ok, let’s start with this classic drink that brings back the nostalgic feeling. We always love the fresh and fruity combination between mango, orange, tea and fresh fruits, a must order for us every time we visit Pancious.

Fresh Fruit Cocktail IDR 66k, Earl Grey Ice Milk Tea IDR 60k

Earl Grey Ice Milk Tea IDR 60k
Well this one is rather new but the combination between earl grey tea and milk turns out to be really good with just the right level of sweetness and it’s not overly milky. The aromatic milk tea is served with milk tea cubes so it will stay cold without getting watery.

Grilled Baby Potato
Oldies but goodies, we always love the grilled baby potato with hint of rosemary in it served with creamy tartar sauce and smoked beef. Somehow our visit to Pancious won’t be complete without getting this menu, we love the fact that it’s now available in two options (small or regular).

Prawn and Spinach Pasta IDR 85k
For pasta, sometimes we prefer creamy one, sometimes just simple savory one would be enough, depends on the mood. Since we’re going to have another creamy menu, AnakJajan opted for simple prawn and spinach pasta cooked with olive oil and chili. It tastes savory, spicy, simple but delicious without being overwhelming.

Well, here it is, the new menu, Pancious’s special collaboration with Magnum. You can order the new menu with pancake or waffle or crepes cake.

First impression, beautiful presentation, it looks so instagrammable with colorful fresh fruits and edible flowers. Basically the pancake/ waffle/ crepes cake is served with mixed fruits, coconut sauce, meringue, and special chocolate expert from Magnum.

We gotta say that it’s a pretty yet delicious creation. You get the nice chocolate taste from Magnum, fresh flavor kick from fruits, crunchy sweet texture from meringue and light savory taste from coconut sauce to bond all elements into one harmonious flavor. AnakJajan tried both pancake and crepes cake version to get the different sensation, personally we love the crepe cake version more.

Fried chicken with waffle or pancake?? YAZZZ! Imagine crispy deep fried boneless chicken thigh topped with torch-grilled cheese sauce, mozzarella and parmesan cheese on top of fluffy pancake or waffle. What’s there not to love?? It’s a filling dish perfect for anyone who loves cheese, crispy savory cheesy creamy in each bite.

Overall, Pancious always manages to deliver good tasting dishes consistently. Lots of love for their new menu, it’s well thought with beautiful presentation followed by great flavor.
