Cake can make everyday a celebration, don’t you agree? In this post, we’re going to share a closer look of Clairmont Patisserie‘s newest creations called Thai Tea & Nutella Red Velvet Cake.

A while ago, we got two of Clairmont Patisserie new creations delivered to our home. Yup, we have an excuse to eat cake everyday because it’s somebody’s birthday somewhere. Let’s take a look of the cakes.

This new variant caught our attention immediately, yup it’s THAI TEA CAKE!!

The cake has three layers of sponge cakes, it’s fluffy yet moist with light cream in between, the coating outside has jelly like texture which gives the cake a nice texture.

As the name suggests, it tastes exactly just we way we expected, Thai Tea in cake form. You’ll get a nice hint of tea aroma in each bite which is very delightful. It has just the right level of sweetness, moist and light, we can enjoy two or three slices easily.

Best enjoyed cold from the fridge, the cake comes in three sizes, we got the 15cm diameter one.

Nutella Red Velvet IDR 275,000 for 18cm/ IDR 345,000 for 20cm
With vibrant color, the new Nutella Red Velvet is easily noticeable. It comes in two sizes, we got the large one 20cm.

Once you cut it, you can see beautiful layers of red and chocolate cakes with Nutella cream in the middle.

The cake has fluffy and moist texture, in terms of flavor, compared to Thai Tea Cake, Nutella Red Velvet has bolder and richer taste with dominant chocolate and Nutella flavor. It goes well with a cup of hot coffee or tea.

Overall, great flavor, nice texture, reasonable price, Clairmont Patisserie’s cake makes a great companion for any occasion.
